25. Not really.
I never thought there could be a worse president than Nixon. And I never thought a mainstream democrat would embrace Nixon's "southern strategy."

26. you should read this thread as well
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x5888417

some very interesting posts therein.

several things over the last year have crossed thresholds I never thought I'd see:

a preemptive war of agression against someone who was not a threat
the evaporation of civil liberties
the outrageous justifications for torture

and a democrat running on racial divisiveness, and trying to suppress votes.

never thought I'd ever see that.

We have the establishment in our pocket, no need to win any more. I'll bet they don't, though. He's just like Penn, a real bag o' douche.

20. Never Thought About That - We Keep Hearing That *Co Will Hit Iran......
before he leaves office. If that were to happen before this Dem nomination was sewn up by Obama - does anyone think that Hilliary can make a case for her being the nominee instead of Obama.

It is spooky out of touch with reality.

It reminds me of Rove and "the" math.

33. Hillary's people are starting to seem as out of touch as Bush
I was thinking of Stewart's interview on Larry King (posted here recently) when he was talking about Bush and Cheney governing for their people and saying screw the rest of you all. Obama, said Jon, seems to want to govern for everyone.

Monday night Jon did a bit about Hillary acting like Bush and if she gets elected we'll never be rid of him. This is one more example. It's like she is telling the 52% of us who voted for Obama (and donated and worked our butts off for him) to get screwed as she only cares about herself and her supporters.

and they can still WIN? Why push so hard to get FL and MI counted, if you plan to appeal to the SD's to ignore the will of all of states INCLUDING....wait for it... MI and FL!

21. My theory is
that it has always about Hillary getting the nomination. Once that happens she has done her job for her true constituents -- her corporate sponsors. Hillary's candidacy is about stacking the deck. And she HAS to win the nomination.

Plus, it simply cannot be a coincidence that Mark Penn and McCain's campaign manager both have ties to the same electronic voting machine company.

The fix would be in except for the one thing they didn't plan for -- someone changing the way the game is played. If my theory is correct, buckle up because it is going to be a wild ride from here on out. Their corporate paymasters will not willingly allow for a peaceful transfer of power to the voters.

23. I am just so sick over this.
I thought it was perfectly acceptable to go out on a win after Kentucky, to get some money to pay off her debts. But, today, she really played her cards. Refusing to compromise on Michigan, the interview about how she brings the white vote, Howie's apppearance...Can't someone end this insanity. For the love of God, we need a huge group of Supers to come forward and make a huge statement - NOW. Not next week. No more trying to spare her feelings. It has to end now.
