I too am cleaning out my ignore list
It mostly contains people who said they will not vote for the nominee in the Fall if their candidate did not get nominated. There were Clinton and Obama supporters on that list.

I am now wiping the slate clean, and I am giving everyone a chance to cool down after a divisive primary season.

I do hope I don't have to start adding names to the list. I joined DU in early 2003 and only felt the need to start using the ignore list 6 months ago.

2. i fear your list will grow very fast
as, since you obviously haven't been able to hear them, people are still saying this quite often.

most of us understand the importance of a Dem win.

4. Virtually all on my ignore list are pre-primary.
Many say they will not support the nominee if it is not their candidate. Let's hope it is just talk from hurt feelings and disappointment and that they will come to their senses. In a way I believe they are like smokers and know the consequences of their actions or inaction, and like smokers they do not need to be lectured about how it is wrong for them to do what they are doing. If we concentrate on fighting against McCain they may well quietly come back into the fold.
