I was wrong when I said Obama made a mistake Wednesday
That the day after he won NC big he should have came out the next day and took over the news.

I was wrong because he left the media do it for him and then on Thursday he came out. So that gave him to news cycles. What a sweet and smart play.

Damn he is good.

Just wanted to admit I was wrong

1. Obama is sensitive to the emotional supporters of Hillary
He doesn't want to create any perception that he pushed her out of the race. It's better to let the party and the press do that.

2. He just has the LONG view ...
Him calling Indiana FOR Hillary on Tuesday when all the networks still had it too close to call ... Just wise beyond his years, and operating SO far out of the normal political paradigms ...

3. I watched Axelrod and some other guy I had never heard of on CNN's coverage
These guys really know what they're doing. Aside from the self-inflicted wounds, they've run a very smart campaign. After this, Axelrod I think that the media will be calling him the new guru of political strategy. Similar to what they did for Karl Rove, but you know, not in recognition of the work of Satan.

6. My 70-something white mother said the same thing months ago.
My teenage sons love Obama. My mother loves Obama. He must be doing something right.
