3. WOW! Talk about only seeing what one wants to see... How did you miss this???
<<However, while Senator Clinton has remained close and competitive in every meaningful measure, she is a close second and the race is over. It has become clear that Barack Obama will be the Democratic nominee.>>

15. I will try, I appreciate your situation
It's just that many of your fellow Clinton supporters have generated quite a bit of animosity toward the Clinton camp.

You are certainly welcome to the Obama camp

19. I was on board for Edwards after my favorite candidates (Gore, then Clark) chose not
Edited on Fri May-09-08 02:47 PM by tblue37
to run this time. When Edwards dropped out, I moved into the Obama camp. Since then, I have read his books and watched him and read about him--a lot. The more I see and read, the more impressed I am. I no am longer thinking ABBMc (AnyBodyButMcCain), but rather, GOBAMA!

I still wish Edwards could have won, but now I am eagerly, not at all reluctantly, supporting Obama.

I would have been thrilled to have either a Black man or a woman as president, but even at that, Edwards would have been my preferred nominee, because he has become an ardent populist, and I believe his change is for real, not for show.

Still, I am quite happy onboard the Obama train now, and I am sure we will see you Hillary fans there soon, too. And when we do, we will be "shakin' hands and slappin' backs to greet ya."

12. Ermm, how did you miss this part:
With this in mind, Rasmussen Reports will soon end our daily tracking of the Democratic race and focus exclusively on the general election competition between Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama. Barring something totally unforeseen, How is this denial?

2. It makes a lot of business sense
Why spend money and resources tracking an election that's over?

It makes no business sense at all.

11. "will soon end our daily tracking" This is just a PR piece.
Soon could be the last day of the convention.

I doubt she can pull this off, but the polling will go on.

21. I tend to agree. Obama's mojo is on the up-swing.. the poll was done before IN & NC primaries
now that Barak has rebounded, he'd poll even stronger here.

18. Interesting excerpt:
"Obama leads Clinton by twenty-one points among those who use the Internet daily or nearly every day. Clinton leads among those who are less likely to be online." My guess is that the lead would be even greater against McCain.

That seems to the only metric where Obama has such a commanding lead (aside from AA voters). In my own case, I'm TOTALLY dependent on the internet for my news intake, and much of it for general information. I realize how wildly atypical this is, and generally try to factor it OUT when I try to make political assessments. But its still a very important metric, and may prove decisive. GO Obama, GO!

reason to deny him the nomination." --Rasmussen
