Let's follow Obama's lead and focus on the GE, not the Obama bashers
Barack Obama will be our party's nominee! :applause: :patriot:

There is no need for us to respond to the Obama (can't win) proponents anymore.

Why feed the fire of discontent and conflict on DU?

The nomination battle is over; and the more we respond to the naysayers - the more it distracts from a far more compelling battle this fall.

To those Hillary supporters who have shared with wisdom and grace that they realize Hillary has lost, to them I offer my empathy and admiration for showing tons of tenacity on DU. Even being out numbered 5 to 1, you hung in here. I'm hoping over time, many of you will join Obama in his fight. We need you!

And to those folks who continue to have the need to express that our nominee can't win, then please consider what purpose it serves to continue to do so. You came to DU because you are a Democrat; if you can only bash our future nominee - why chill here anymore?

Plenty of us will be here to carry the fight on to the pukes this fall! In fact, millions of people will.

Lets follow the lead of Barack Obama and re-focus our efforts on beating McSame.

And for the Obama bashing posts - no need to take the bait anymore. He's WON! :)

Let those posts sink...

2. Great advice
Today I've seen some great posts here about how to frame the issues -- Obama dtalking about McCain "losing his bearings", for example -- the AFL-CIO McCain fact book is a great resource for facts about McCain that will disturb most Americans -- gathering facts so that Republicans realize the right wing has betrayed their own interest-- let us hope that even more information and strategy is forthcoming, and that we, as united Democrats, can come up with creative ways of getting the message out that McCain is McSame-the LOSER, and the GOP is the party of the fat cats and not the people.

4. Agree.
Just don't respond. Some are going out of their way to provoke...they should be totally ignored. I haven't had anyone on ignore for a long time now. I know the names and I try very hard not to click on their threads or respond to their posts. Every now and then, I let them get to me, but I'm better at it now.

Peace:thumbsup:
