What the media has taught me; When they say "It's Over", It Ain't- Man your Battle Stations!
Edited on Fri May-09-08 11:36 PM by FrenchieCat
It ain't over till it's over.

I will not be lulled into thinking anything other than the fight goes on until the opponent has conceded.

Till Then, I'm wearing my gear and I'm gonna continue to fight. I'm gonna continue to make calls, and I'm donating tonight, after I write this post, in fact.

The lying corporate media will continue to play games. Just like Hillary, they will not go quiet in the night, and if you believe that they will, I have a war in Iran I'd like to sell you.

Now......whatever Hillary supporters decide they want to do, is fine with me. They can join us, continue to fight or whatever. Just letting you know, I'm right there where I was, battling to make Obama the next President of the United States. The urgency is now, and no one, and I mean, no one is gonna play me.

If Hillary folks are mad and want to vote for all of the wrong policies, they should just do it...but those folks better not ever call me a member of a cult. And no, I'm not kissing any ass.....cause that's not what this election is about; kissing ass.

So go ahead those Obama supporters who want to now relax and be certain that we've got this in the bag-- Me, I'm going to continue being a front line soldier and do whatever is required to INSURE that Obama not only wins this nomination, but that he wins this Presidency....because we need to change this country, and we need to change the world!

I will not be an Obama grasshopper next to an Hillary ant.

I will not allow anything to get by me.

And for those who didn't like the CNN coverage; tell them so!

Larry King -- CNN News Group

Department: Larry King Live & Larry King Weekend
E-mail: lklshow.ideas@cnn.com
Phone: (202) 898-7690

And make sure to write to newspapers in all of the important states! Tell them that Hillary is ridiculous, and that Obama's skin color will not stop the true patriots for voting for the man, simply because of his skin color.

PS. Since I don't watch Cable, give me the names of those you found offensive, and I will give you their email address.

THE TIME IS NOW, TO MAKE OUR VOICES HEARD. DO NOT RELAX UNTIL OUR CANDIDATE IS SITTING HIS ASS IN THE OVAL OFFICE.

If I'm tooting my horn, my only reward is an Obama Presidency. That's all I will accept; nothing less. This ain't about me, it is about my children's future.

6. Agree 100%.
I don't think this is over by any stretch of the imagination. Hillary will probably take this all the way to the convention. She is a voracious power-hungry beast.

Expect a summer of endless attacks on Obama by McCain, Hillary, Cable News, and the GOP. Not to mention all of their mindless surrogates.

We MUST continue to fight. I will be sending another donation to Obama in the next few days :patriot:

24. Did I attack Clinton?
Edited on Sat May-10-08 12:04 AM by FrenchieCat
No....

I'm staying vigilant, and I'm writing to newspapers in the Primary state left.... telling them why I support Barack Obama.

I am also emailing shows (based on what is said here, cause I'm not turning them on)....telling them what I object to.

If that is attacking, I find that strange...cause I consider it playing cautionary defense.

26. I think it depends on how you mean your phrase "what you object to."
Edited on Sat May-10-08 12:16 AM by BullGooseLoony
If you call someone a racist, for example, in objecting to what they're saying, that might be considered an attack, or a counterattack, and further escalate things.

The media does not simply capitulate.

They do not go from covering Wright 24/7 to now announcing the Winner, just like that, unless there's something else afoot.

I made the mistake once before of thinking that the Supreme Court was going to let us count the votes; I was wrong.

I made the mistake of thinking that if enough people objected and marched against the Iraq War, it wouldn't happen; I was wrong

I made the mistake once of thinking that we, Democrats, would do something about voting machines between 2000 and 2004; I was wrong.

I made the mistake of thinking that race would not become the issue that it has during this general election; and I was wrong.

I don't trust anyone anywhere about anything...in particular the media.

Hillary and surrogates are still running around talking shit about Black this, and White that.....and I"m sorry to say that I now realize that they will stop at nothing....

period.

25. Didin't tell you to stop making calls
but at this point addressing HRC surrogates DIRECTLY is playing into the game they're playing....

So make those calls, please, give the money, call the media if you must, don't drop your guard

But... they didn't suddenly go from it is still a race to the math ain't there just because and trust me, they are disappointed... they wanted HER

So unless something really radical comes out... BO is the nominee

Yes, even Rahm Emmanuel sounded that dog whistle today

She's dropping very soon

Edited on Sat May-10-08 12:13 AM by Cali_Democrat
If you think Hillary will concede you're completely delusional.

She is so power-hungry and will stop at nothing to destroy Obama so she can sway the supers or run again in 2012.

Underestimate her at your own peril.

30. Not underestimating her
and yes, I have been watching the primaries VERY closely

IT is not about her any longer... the dog whistles are all over the place, starting with Clark and Feinstein, and today none other than Rahm Emmanuel and the uncommitted SD refused to meet her.

The pressure is increasing

She is facing an Adlai Stevenson kind of a future... kind of a party elder that nobody wants to talk to.

THat is not the legacy she wants...

What I expect her to do is SUSPEND her campaign, and that is fine with me as well

Well it ain't over till it's over, so we need to keep working!

32. Agreed! I just posted this on my blog at mybarackobama
Please, Obama campaign, don't believe the media hype. It is not over. The Obama campaign has been smart and thorough and consistent for months on end -- that cannot stop now.

Senator Obama must continue to campaign vigorously to win the Popular Vote! Senator Clinton certainly is. She thinks it could win her the nomination. She might be right. If Clinton wins the popular vote, there will certainly be a fight at the convention.

My congresswoman, Lynn Woolsey, has endorsed Senator Clinton but says she will cast her vote at the convention for the winner of the popular vote, excluding Michigan.

It is very, very important that Obama continue to "Win Big, Lose Small" in the six remaining contests. Including Puerto Rico, which has 2 million voters and holds its primary on June 1.

Obama has not yet opened an office in Puerto Rico. This could be a grievous error, resulting in a fight on the convention floor, if Clinton wins by a 400,000+ vote margin and thus wins the total popular vote.

Keep your eye on the Prize! There are 6 more contests for the Democratic nomination. All are important. Only after Obama has won the popular vote is the nomination securely Senator Obama's.

If you agree with this viewpoint, please add this concern to your own posts. We need to create such a racket that the campaign pays attention, and fully contests the remaining primaries.

because of her speech. I wasn't fooled. I knew the next day she would be back out on the campaign trail trash talking. I was right of course.

I agree we need to keep the pressure on. We won't win if we think it's all over. We are closer but I don't think we should become complacent until she decides it's over. And we need to continue the fight. Thanks for all you're doing, FrenchieCat.:applause:
