Buyer's Remorse: Californians Would Switch Clinton Vote For Obama

Californians Would Switch Clinton Vote For Obama

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5) ― California voters would change their February primary vote for Hillary Clinton to a vote for Barack Obama if the vote were held again, according to an exclusive poll commissioned by CBS 5.

While voters in the California Democratic Presidential Primary backed Clinton by a 10-point margin, a new SurveyUSA poll shows that if given the chance to vote again, Californians would choose Barack Obama by a 6-point margin, 49%-43%.

The poll was conducted on May 7 and 8 and has a margin of error of 4%.

2. So that means all those Hillary voters will vote for
Obama in November and not McCain. I know many of us threw away our votes in the primary. I know I did because I voted for Edwards before he dropped out of the race and there was no way to get that vote back. I think this means we should really have runoff voting. This way I could have selected two candidates after my first choice that would have been counted instead. But spilled milk isn't what is at issue here but whom will California voters elect in November and I believe it will be Obama.

5. I did hear of some voting "irregularities"
in certain wards of NYC. Hmm, I wonder where those were?

Call me a cynical New Yorker, unfortunately now stuck in Florida.

9. Not like this. It's exploded. I can't go anywhere without hearing
pro-Obama anti-Clinton talk these days. It used to be less partisan.

10. One of the most annoying of human traits
is the crushing need to be part of the cool people. It's one of the greatest of all human needs: the soul-wrenching hunger to not be a loser, to not be left out, to have a proper tattoo and wear the baseball cap backwards in just the perfect way that one can be a part of the "in" crowd and still be a little better than them.

In the zig-zag ambling toward a better tomorrow, this is one of the most tiresome of human habits that continually clouds the vision and derails everything.

It's funny how people spend such endless time finding substantiation for opinions they've already calcified. Ha.

11. And I think a lot of us Edwards voters would also vote for Obama in a binary choice situation too!..
Here's one California Edwards voter that would add a vote to the Obama column if it were done again.

14. An Iowa Edwards voter who feels the same here.
Edwards and Obama split the "not Hillary" vote for a long time. When Edwards dropped out before super-duper tuesday, my feeling was that he did it to stop Clinton.

19. Absolutely true from what I have seen.
Hillary is NOT the choice now of us Californians. She NEVER was mine ~~ but most I know who favored her back when? They are now totally turned off by her and regret voting for her in our primary.
