What question would you ask on the exit polls for the WV primary?
Mine would be, "What religion is Obama?" Maybe have it multiple choice: Christian, Muslim, other, don't know. MSM used to poll this question over the phone and it was often getting in the 10-15% area for Muslim. I wish the exit pollers had the 'testicular fortitude' needed to dig deeper with these exit polls other than Iraq War, health care, and the economy questions.

16. Race and ethnic ties do matter when the boundaries are going to be torn assunder
As soon as America can put this issue to rest, voters will actually be able to vote their interest. SNL parody aside, the problem of the last century was race divided America. Hillary Clinton stayed in the contest because she thinks really and truly, he can't win realistically. The DUers that post their messages feel the same way. It is the elephant in the room the media is tracking.

Once that issue is finally (maybe in my lifetime) put to rest so America obsess about something else (Americanism maybe?), the sooner all the other substantive issues can be handled. The realignment of our country might change the political parties orientation to resolving problems. Instead of race baiting, maybe they can figure out how to refocus hate in a new direction.

A poll question focusing on religion might be able to understand and dissolve that fault line: my god is better than your god or your lack of a god.

3. How about, "Would you like to take this occasion now to apologize
for voting as a state for George W. Bush, twice in a row?"

8. Probably a different third party candidate.
There are others out there. They may be the lesser of a few evils, but it's better than what's on offer.

6. Probably, nobody cares.
If they give that answer, they are not paying attention, and that's their own fault.

9. None. I think people voting is enough. The media can wait for the
tabulations, and *report* them. Y'know, like news.

12. In an ideal world I agree with you
but we all know that the media thrives upon voter blocks and breaking down exit polls. Since the media has such a strong influence over which issues are important to voters, I think we need to start asking honest questions in these exit polls. About half of all voters said that Rev. Wright was an 'important' issue, obviously because of the media's non-stop coverage of him. I think that the Muslim question should be asked so that we can honestly assess how much the Muslim smear by Fox News hurt Obama with some voters. This way, his campaign can think of ways to reach these new voters.

11. LOL! I'd ask for which lottery numbers they just played, and if they got
the free replay ticket, worth 8 gallons of gas or a lunch for two at their local ARBYs.

13. Not exactly a question to win over voters, hehe
Also, where did this 'married to your cousin/sibling' rumor start in WV? Quite odd that when a lot of people think of incest they think of the Appalachia region of this country. I would have expected them to think of parts of the country where bigamy is prevalent.
