Retort for those GOP Emails & such expressing "concern" of an Obama Presidency.....
Edited on Sun May-11-08 10:05 PM by FrenchieCat
Those you just happen to run in and who question Obama's Patriotism, his religion, or his skin color....

Tell them that if what they are afraid that in electing a brown man with a funny name to the office of the Presidency, this will make Americans unsafe in America and overseas to terrorists attacks that might kill our citizens; that Iran's strength will grow in the ME; that our leadership will simply serve as recruiters for Al Qaeta; that Hamas might take control of the palestinian Goverment; that our civil liberties will be taken away from us; that the United States founders' intent of a balance of power will be placed in jeopardy; that our constitution will be ignored; that we will be lied into a war; that our taxpayer's money will be be given away to others in foreign lands; that the price of the oil we buy will rise to astronomical height, that our Country will be bankrupted; that those who are our friends will become our enemies, and that we will find ourselves indebted to the Chinese Communist regime while our jobs are given to them and taken from us......

Tell them that it has already happened.....
That they need to wake the fuck up......
That is exactly what we've gotten with an All American good ol' White Boy at the helm.

Which brings me to the reason as to why we have been given a chance to elect Barack at this time.

First of all because Barack is nothing that Bush is.

Bush can barely talk, and Barack is one of the best orator of his time
Bush has a cabal telling him what to do, and Barack will have us setting the agenda
Bush is not at all curious, and Barack is tremendously interested in varying viewpoints.
Bush was born into connection and wealth; Barack was not.
Bush had a father fixation in competing with his father; Barack had no father.
Bush shucked and jive'd his way through school, while Barack earned his way through school.
Bush was a "C" student, and Barack was an "A" student.
Bush has ugly mannerisms and Barack is smooth and graceful.
Bush has a temper and lives and dies by Loyalty, while Barack is cool as a cucumber and appears to locate the most competent for the job needing to be filled (see his campaign).
Bush wanted war; Barack wants peace.
Bush doesn't negotiate; Barack is a diplomat.
Bush is for Big business; Barack is for the People.
Bush was handed his party's nomination; Barack fought hard for this party's nomination.
Bush filled our heart with cynicism and pessimism, Barack fills our heart with hope and optimism.

In fact, in total; Barack Obama is the perfect antithesis to George Bush, and that is what we need to save our asses at this time.

That's why we so desperately deserve Barack Obama; because we have had to live through the reign of George Bush.

THE FIERCE URGENCY IS NOW.

We the people know this......that we need extreme change.

Which is why Barack will Win in November.

And with that, we, the people, will have rectified an extreme mistake that should have never happened.

WELCOME TO THE 21ST CENTURY.....FINALLY!

Bush was; Barack is

but that is a nice pic of her. She looks like Tea Leoni kinda. Maybe she could play her in the inevitable made for Lifetime movie.

22. The Irony Of Those Emails Is That They Claim Everything In Them Was Verified By Snopes.com...
But if you actually click on the link in the email, every point included in them is debunked. So you have be both lazy AND stupid to believe that shit or you have to have gotten it second hand.

12. Great Post, K&R. I was at my Mom's this weekend and she got an
email from one of her friends that started off with "Is Obama the One". I was all excited because I thought she might have an intelligent friend (my mom is a republican because her father was a republican - I gave up long ago trying to change her mind - it's like she doesn't have one (a mind) when it comes to these subjects.

Anyway, upon further reading it turned out my excitement was for naught as the email was supposedly a copy of an article written by some idiot at the NY Sun implying that Obama is the anti-christ.

I cannot tell you how disgusted I was but I really don't think you can't change the idiots that would believe something like that - they are just one of those groups that we need to outnumber.

14. Maybe you can send her this thread.
Afterall, none of what is said can be denied.

I think after having had the dumbest White man in office of 8 years,
We now deserve the smartest Black man in office to fix all of that.

Tell her somebody told you that. :)

That kind of says it all, for me. The world of the last 100 years is not one any of us should feel honored to give to our children, and we're making sure this century, OUR century, is going to be different.
