Am I the only one left who likes both candidates?
I like Sen. Clinton. I do not think she is a racist, a devil, or any of the 300 other things she has been called.

I like Sen. Obama even more, which is why I voted for him. He is the best hope we have that things may actuall change in Washington.

I think we will need the supporters of both candidates to win in November.

is going to go off and start shooting up the place. They are so volatile and spicy. :P

6. Nah, I still like Clinton too.
I think she's been picked on for a pretty minor gaffe about voting demographics.

And yeah, there've been times when I have been tempted to make a wisecrack about her campaign, and stopped myself.

8. I like both of them
I support Obama, but really admire Clinton. True, she's made some careless comments, but no worse than some of the comments by Michelle Obama, Bill Clinton, or John McCain. The problem is that Obama has set the bar very high. He's made almost no stupid comments.

9. I have a love/hate relationship with Hillary
I admire her tenacity and intelligence, and I like that she is a strong woman who is tough and doesn't back down. I grew up admiring her when she was First Lady, and I think she has done a good job representing the people of New York in the US Senate (the Iraq war vote being a notable exception).

At the same time, I object to some of the tactics she has employed in this campaign. Her strategy of inevitability was arrogant, and I don't like the sense of entitlement she and some of her supporters seem to have. I don't think she herself is in any way racist, but I do think she has been willing to exploit racial divisions for political gain at certain points in this campaign.

I certainly don't hate her, and I will admit that I will probably feel a little sad when she actually drops out. I certainly don't wish any ill upon her.

And like you, my decision to support Obama was just that, a decision to support Obama, not a decision to be against Hillary.

11. I like them both.
I think a lot of what supposedly has been attributed to them was falsely done so.

Both are intelligent, smart, and well suited for the highest office in the land.

One should divorce the actions of supporters from the candidate him or herself. It's the only way I have kept myself from keeping myself sane and not running out the room and quitting the party for all this crap.

You are not the only one. People on DU sometimes tend to forget that they are both running neck in neck for a reason all over the country. They are both really liked equally by all members of the party.

15. I DO like both, but have to say
Hillary Clinton has shown a side of herself this primary that has pissed me off on more than 3 occasions! While I have respect for her as a former 1st lady and senator, she leaves a lot to be desired as a political opponent. I am saddened by some of the shit she's pulled this primary season.

26. Because when it comes down to it, she is closer to my ideals on issues than McCain.
She proposes universal health care. She wouldn't dare strike down Democrat passed bills with a veto. She, like Senator Obama will appoint SCOTUS members that are more progressive. With a Democrat held congress she'd be a fool not to!

increases in early childhood education, greater fuel efficiency standards, etc.

I also feel like she will fight hard to see these things accomplished.

25. Nah, yer not the only one!
I know it seems overwhelming at times because of the level of venom directed at one or the other, but there are many, myself included who will be proud to pull the lever, punch the ballot, or tap the button for either of these two great candidates.

My only hope is that whichever one I'm punching, pulling, or tapping for is the WINNER for the next president! God, Hera, or whatever the hell deity might be out there.. PLEASE don't let a Repub.. ANY repub be the winner for this next election!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

27. No.
I will be happy to vote for either candidate in November.

Sen. Obama is eloquent, smart & would make a fine President. It's easy to see why his campaign has the most enthusiastic supporters.

Sen. Clinton is tough, smart & would also make a fine President. I admire her very much.

If these 2 would ever team up, they'd be unbeatable.

But I will vote for the Democratic nominee, no question about that!

We most certainly DO need the supporters of both candidates to win in November, and we need the votes from those of us who didn't support either, but for whom voting for the Democrat is the OBVIOUS choice!

I think it's time to unite and fight our REAL enemy, McCain!

37. I haven't chosen sides
I was never impressed with either candidate, and can't see much difference between them. Early in the campaign Clinton supporters hated me, now Obama supporters do. I have gone from being accused of being a far leftist "whaddya gonna do vote for Nader?" to a racist DLC "whaddya gonna do vote for McCain?"

39. I used to like Hillary a lot.
I spent years defending her from my family.

I have hated the tactics she has used in this campaign though. I think she has been dreaming about being president since the Arkansas days and it is very hard for her to give up that dream. I actually feel a little sorry for her.

I only like her a little now. I would still vote for her if I had to and don't think she should lose her Senate seat or be thrown out of the party or anything like that.
