3. We only have 7 months till the new Congress
Would it really be that bad just to kick his ass out of the party now. I know it will be 50-50 and we'll have a GOP majority leader but what is going to get done in an election year anyway?

9. I think he knows he's done. And that this is his last term
I think, along with losing his mind, that's behind his behavior of late. He doesn't give a (*& and his true colors are showing.

11. Never understand the willingness of Demoractic Party voters....
...to be doormats and vote for someone who has repeatedly screwed them over. The voters in Connecticut returned that asshole to the Senate once. I can't see any reason why they wouldn't do it again.

Why do you think so many Dems in Congress have spent more time kissing up to the GOP than representing our best interests? Because they know their voters will vote them back into office, no matter what they do.

12. Let me just say I've heard from people who should know
that he knows he's done in CT.

That said, what I don't understand isn't confidence in incumbency (that's been around an awful long time), but the willingness to abandon principles that mark the party these people freely joined.
