For all the women supporting Hillary who would vote for McCain over Obama...
...please, please let us know so that we can deliver them personally a bloody coat hanger.

I was just watching a CNN special where they interviewed women who supported Clinton and were asked if they would vote for Obama if (as if he isn't) the nominee... half of the women did not raise their hand. It was absolutely disgusting to see just how STUPID these people were.

I guess they are really for Bush policies after all. The endless war, anti-choice policies, neocon tendencies, continuing destruction of the middle class...

they deserve exactly what they get

However, I do not believe that will happen

21. Obama didn't "kick the Clinton Machine" as you claim...the MSM DID IT!
Talk about stolen votes...how is it that MSNBC could "know" the outcome of North Carolina's primary...at 6:02 pm...2 minutes after the polls closed and not 1 single precinct reported in with numbers...

Please don't tell me that "Exit Polls" showed him winning...the "Exit Polls" showed Kerry with a 4% lead in Ohio...and yet he still lost...oh that's right...the people taking the polls after voting "lied"....

The MSM tells us who to vote for and as "good little mindless robots"...we do what they say...

JFC. You wanted them to call it early for her like they did Texas - which she eventually lost?

It didn't go your way, sorry, but you can't blame this part on the MSM. REAL PEOPLE actually go out and walk the streets and bang on doors and talk about the issues. Obama's ground game is phenomenal. He's brought more new voters to the party than any other candidate in history. THAT is reality.

If you can't stand the MSM telling you what to think, turn your fucking tv off. It's obviously wasting your brain.

31. The exit polls were correct in '04 concerning Ohio
It just so happened the Ken Blackwell the SOS of Ohio was a chairman for the Bush/Cheney Cabal. Blackwell MADE sure that the Democratic Precincts didn't have enough voting machines, plus a lot of other shenanigans that went on in Ohio.

I suppose you THINK Bush/Cheney Cabal won Ohio fair and square:shrug:

If Blackwell and his republicon cohorts hadn't been in place during the '04 election, we would have had John Kerry as President.

I don't like it when the CorpoMedia releases the winner with no precincts reporting, but I guess there is nothing we can do about it.

And MSNBC is NOT the only one who called it for Obama in NC. Even tho that is the station I was watching, I heard that several stations called it for Obama, including Faux Noise.

43. Y'all are cutting off your own heads to spite your noses. As a latte liberal I can sit this out
and let McCain give me more ridiculous tax cuts. I can pay $10/gallon for gas if I have to. But you know what - I can also see beyond that and realize that this country will be far stronger if we all band together and work against McCain. There really are very few "elites" in this country. Most of us are working people who depend upon our paychecks, even if some are a little larger than others.

The temper tantrums from the Clinton supporters are really getting old. Sure, vote in McCain and watch your sons die in Iraq, watch your daughters die from illegal abortions, and watch the gap between rich & poor in this country grow even wider. Is that what you really want? I think a few people on this board need to get a grip and grow up.

58. It's amazing that Hillary supporters keep pushing this "hick" meme...
Do they think if they keep saying it enough times it will convince people it is reality? That it will make people believe Hillary is not a corporate stooge, taking more money than any other candidate from PACs and lobbyists? I have a few family members who are on the way to becoming fully reformed Republicans, and guess what - none of them likes Hillary, and most will vote for Obama. In Texas! Ironically, Hillary's tough/hick posturing is not going to capture people switching from Rep to Dem simply because it represents the exact same war-mongering and fear-mongering they are running away from.

8. For the first time ever, I watched Anderson Cooper and I heard that. Here's my fave:
"I want to see us elect a woman for President before I die. If not now, then when? If not Hillary, then who?" Followed immediately by, "Some people are infatuated with the idea of Obama being President with really considering what he stands for. I will not vote for him; I'll have to vote for McCain."

Holy crapoli. Irony so thick you can cut it with a knife. And Cooper popped that bullshit onto our screens as if it weren't completely insane.

11. Many of them will wise up when the time comes.
Most are still in the anger/denial phase, which is just human nature when people have such an emotional investment in something. Most of them will realize that they are truly just hurting themselves and their mothers and daughters by voting for McCain.

Some will remain ignorant and angry, but that number will be far smaller than it appears right now.

16. I just hope they know what is at risk with a vote for McCain
Some people really STILL think that McCain is a "maverick" and a "moderate" without really knowing what he's about.

Granted, more focus will be on McCain as time goes on, but if people (and especially pro-choice women who are Hillary Clinton supporters) think that McCain would be a better choice, then that's a shame.

We will see. I agree that a lot of people are angry with the results and perhaps put in a lot of time and investment...

Right now, there's still the possibility, so I think they are expressing a "preference" now, rather than an absolute fact if that is eliminated, I believe many of them will act in their self-interests based upon the relative rankings of what they value, I think the majority of them want a woman in charge as a means to an end(strong pro-choice,acute recognition and willingness to promote equalization of pay/opportunities in the work force), rather than an end in and of itself, and I think/hope that they'll agree to pick obama as representing those means, relative to McCain. But we'll see, I hope they are fully aware and willing to face the consequences of their choices what ever they may be. I wonder if their opinions would change if hillary were the V.P. and if so why

and I've seen it myself in at least one person who I thought was a good progressive. She actually said that she'd vote for McCain before she'd vote for Obama. She seemed to have a very negative opinion of Obama for reasons that, IMHO, she couldn't really articulate. She seemed to be saying that she was upset that his campaign put so much effort into raising money and was able to get people so emotionally involved. :eyes:

Hopefully most of them will come to their senses before November.

I firmly believe part of Hillary's "base" will be voting GOP anyway this fall regardless. I meet several dozen or more Republicans who are becoming Democrats after years and years following the GOP to vote for Obama. It is a chance for people who have felt duped by the GOP to finally switch. It took A LOT OF DAMAGE for such a thing to happen, but at least some people are seeing the light and doing something about it.

44. Yes, Bluebell...
That is the problem, isn't it?

If the Democratic party had stood by while Obama was called every racist name in the book by his non supporters in the media, both TV and print, including slanted headlines, if every sentence about him concerned WHAT HE WAS BORN AS, rather than what he has done, how many of you would support the party then?

I believe, and I could be wrong, that disappointment in the Democratic Party is because they did NOT step forward and say, "HEY, It's wrong to be using terms such as whore and bitch", etc. Even if the dumb morons didn't stop, it would show that the heads of the party, and the Senators/reps in the party do not condone it. They were silent. They did not decry the fact that these terms were being used to bring Hillary Clinton down.
They allowed every woman in America to be disrespected with this language. The days are past when that will be tolerated by a vast majority of women in this country.

If the Democratic Party wanted the votes of women, they could have stood up and said, "We don't condone the use of sexist terms on the airwaves and in print about this woman candidate."

36. I've heard a few say they wouldn't vote for her. But I haven't heard them say they'd vote McCain.
Most Obama supporters who said they would not vote for Clinton said that they would vote third party, write Obama in, or leave the top box blank. I don't think I have seen or heard any Obama supporters say they planned to vote for McCain against Clinton. I am sure there are some who would, but overall, it seems like Clinton supporters seem more open to voting for McCain, while Obama supporters who won't vote for Clinton seem more likely to just not vote or vote third party.
