15. Daily KOS bardwell said that turnout was high in Desoto Cnty.
It wasn't when I voted - 286 out of 1400 had voted at 5:30. They said this is the primary too.

20. DeSoto county is coming in so it is tightening but
Prestiss county has not come in yet, so. Travis won 85% of his county last time.

there is a 'delta district' which is pretty much a black only district that takes in every black voter in can find from Tunica down the river to Nanchez.

Ouch, no prentiss, but no Tate (heavy R county).

This jump occurred because more of DeSoto came in (36 of 38 precincts now reporting in Desoto which is currently 74-26 for Davis)

Tate is 100% reporting and was only 57-43 for Davis! Prentiss still isn't 100% (6 precincts left to go and coming in at 85-15 Childers so far!)

Only one precinct left and it's a Prentiss precinct :)

Looks like a 7000 vote win in a +10R district!

It was only a few years ago those R bastards were crowing about a "permanent majority" and now they are losing special elections in the (formerly) reddest parts of (formerly) red states.
