9. What Would You Change?
I really don't want to change it after I started it. I have 2 more for today. I'll take suggestions, and do another poll. I'm not unreasonable you know.

As Expected. If you still think that supers should overturn the current contest, You are one of Hillary's Insane Clown Posse.

An Elitist, An Oligarchist.

The Hillary Supporters who are reasonable both here, and away from THE DU, they will fall in line like "good democrats"

Those who vote for McCain? or stay home can go fuck themselves.

31. Ones that will happily vote for Obama in the General
Edited on Wed May-14-08 09:36 PM by Moochy
Ones that don't willfully push whispering campaign talking points.
Ones that understand the math.
Ones that repudiate the racist filth that just happen to vote for Hillary.
Ones that understand that the supreme court is more important than petty ego-driven identity politics.

7. What percentage of us has had to change gears and candidates
in this primary? 60% maybe more by my guess. I don't remember the salve and cookies when Kucinich was erased from the the ballot. I do remember Hill and her fans giving not one da*n about the debate that he was selected out of. But hey, if they want to search their souls and come to the conclusion that many of us have, then I welcome them with open mind. Really the world will be better when we all get on one page, but it happens from within my friend. Peace, kim

10. to be frank, my disgust with Sen. Clinton runs so deep...
...that I have to seriously question whether I have much common cause with the folks who support her. My feelings predate the primaries, although she certainly hasn't done anything to build bridges since beginning her campaign.

I didn't vote in the poll. It's too painfull to be exclusionary, but too hard to suggest shared objectives with Sen. Clinton's campaign.

18. Our party will not be held hostage by Hillary Clinton and the DLC any longer.
Hillary supporters will support the nominee, as the Edwards, Kucinich, Richardson, Biden, and Dodd supporters will, because they know what's at stake.

The Hillbots who put Hillary's vanity or the Clinton/DLC myth above the party and the country, they were never Democrats in the first place. And I'd rather crawl across broken glass naked than grovel to those idiots.

25. A question for you: do you want John McCain to be president?
If your answer to that question is 'no', then your choice is clear. You can choose unity with the Democratic nominee. If you choose otherwise, that is really your problem.

If you mean "stop pointing out the lies and machinations from clinton", then no, I don't want that kind of 'unity'.

If you mean "Obama's won, let's beat McLame", welcome aboard.

46. So what, then, may I ask, is the content of your call for "unity?"
What would unity mean? What would your hypothetical Obama supporters have to be percieved as doing, exactly, for you to consider them to be promoting unity? And what would you do if they didn't do so? Your poll basically offers a choice between "We need them" and "We don't need them," referring to Clinton supporters. Need them to do what? Vote for Obama in the general? As if that were conditional on the behavior of Obama-supporting posters on DU alone? How, pray, tell me, does that make any kind of sense? Are you going to vote for McCain if Mommy doesn't get her way? Is there a planet I've never heard of on which that's not cutting off one's nose to spite one's face? What exactly are you talking about, Dinger? How may the majority of DU bend over to appease a sore loser's deluded cult?

49. You should be deathly afraid of ANY Democratic nominee not getting every Dem's vote.
But if you can't fall in line behind the nominee, I sincerely hope you enjoy the McCain administration, and if you don't you won't have anyone but yourself to blame. And if your refusal to fall in line behind your party's nominee is based on somebody on the internet being a meanypants, your priorities are dangerously stupid.
