McCain predicts Iraq war over by 2013. So...
http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/05/15/mccain.2013/index.html?eref=rss_topstories

Please remind everyone that WW2 was won in six years, and that six years have already almost passed since we invaded Iraq. Five more years, to do what? Against whom? Tell all who vote that the republicans don't have any clue what they're doing or why, and must be voted out. If you know anyone who actually intends to vote against freedom in the coming Presidential election...not that they'd listen to facts...but it's worth a try. They've failed, time for a change.

If they can't stablize a single country as well as its own hated, murderous dictator, they don't deserve to continue trying.

5. I did. It was spectacularly creepy and bizzare. All he needed was Sherman and the wayback machine.

8. No Kidding
How about how he predicted winning WW II? Is he claiming to be psychic in addition to being psycho now?

11. ...
"It's not a timetable; it's victory. It's victory, which I have always predicted. I didn't know when we were going to win World War II; I just knew we were going to win," McCain said.

4. Lies. Yet again, more promises that will be long forgotten and never fulfilled.
Posturing and pandering, while knowing full well that he has no plan on going through with it.

9. Holy crap, you're right.
I actually believed a republican. What's wrong with me? Or, what's right with me, and wrong with them?

6. That's nice. They were saying two weeks to two months before this started.
It's been "around the corner" ever since. If Johnny Mac is saying five years, that means he's thinkin' 100.

7. Maybe he's looking at the Mayan calendar?
If the whole fucking world ends in December 2012, that would mean the Iraq war ended by 2013, right?

12. The genius of Republican military assesment:
"It could last six days, six weeks. I doubt six months,"
- Donald Rumsfeld, February 2003

"Sen. John McCain envisions that by 2013, the Iraq war will be won"
-CNN May 2008

And the genius of Republican financial management:

"The administration's top budget official estimated today that the cost of a war with Iraq could be in the range of $50 billion to $60 billion."
-New York Times, December 30, 2002

"Joseph Stiglitz, a Nobel Prize-winning economist from Columbia University, estimated the total long-run cost at $3 trillion in 2007 valued dollars."
-Christian Science Monitor, March 10, 2008

The incompetent Republican war hawks were off by 10 years and $3 trillion dollars. Why on earth would anyone believe a word they say?

13. By 2013 he'd have us at war with Russia.
You'll forget all about that little camping trip to Iraq by the end of McBomby's first term.

My friends...

(which, of course, doesn't exist ...)

14. 2013 means you have to elect him for his second term also
in order to see the fruition of his imaginary first term.
