Hillary fought hard. She has no chance of winning the nomination
Whatever you think about how Hillary ran her campaign, you've got to give her this: She fought in every way she knew how. She's still hoping lightening or a meteor will strike Obama and she's still rallying her supporters. Despite that, she's done. She's going to lose Oregon by double digits and KY won't help her. The DNC is not going to give her what she wants on May 31 and even if they did, Obama would still be ahead in pledged delegates by 60 or so.

OBAMA HAS THIS LOCKED UP. HE HAS THE PLEDGED DELEGATES ON TAP.

And that's what will decide this.

She may or not be on the ticket as VP, but those thinking she'll be the nominee are simply deceiving themselves.

I admire her grit and fighting spirit even if I think she's run a poor campaign and one that hit low note after low note. It's still over for her.

1. It's all over now baby blue

Who could tell Clinton to quit ?

In Britain they are called the Men in Grey Suits.

Mrs Clinton will listen to the advice of her most trusted colleagues

They are the people a politician least wants to hear from.

The people who visit you to whisper gently in your ear that the party's over - you have to resign, quit the race.

They are usually senior members of your party, loyal friends and colleagues, who you trust enough to tell you truth - even if the truth is that your political dreams are over.

5. I really think Bubble Syndrome is responsible for her continuing her campaign
She surrounds herself with yes men and refuses to listen to anything that contradicts her preconceptions. That is the only way I can explain her continuing in this race and insisting that she is going to win, despite Obama's insurmountable lead.

(Incidentally, our current "president" also suffers from this syndrome. Which is a big part of why I don't want Clinton in office. I certainly don't want four more years of that)
