It's been about 90 mins since the Kennedy stroke was reported and no statement from HRC & Co
Rapid response from Obama camp.

Recent response from the McCain camp.

Crickets from the HRC camp. Are politics that important to that camp that they can't extend well wishes to a fellow dem, a party elder, who might have just suffered a stroke?

recognize that HRC and Ted Kennedy are old friends and wanted to know why she hadnt issued a statement yet.

This is not politics, this is human being stuff, life stuff. When your friend falls ill you send them care and your best wishes.

The fact is, she issued a statement, a little late, but did indeed issue it. When I posted, she had not yet issued a statement and I had a valid question.

I've decided to believe the best in people instead of the worst. I want to believe that although HRC has run an unsuccessful and ill-advised campaign for president, but still is a good person at heart, and wouldn't refuse to send good wishes to a colleague and friend who has fallen ill. I refuse to hate people even though I get mad at them for doing things I don't like. I don't believe that you have to hate and trivialize Hillary Clinton to admire and support Barack Obama. Just the way I have decided to think about the situation, take it for what it is worth.
