On May 31, the DNC has a chance to make it clear that the people of Florida and Michigan have a voice in our party. The decision is especially critical given the important role these states will play in November.

And your voice could make the difference for the millions of people who went to the polls in those two states to make their choice for president.

Even though 99% of those votes were for Obama and Edwards, and Edwards has now endorsed Obama, so common sense dictates that to achieve any sort of fairness, Obama should at least get all of the "Uncommitted" votes.

They don't care about fairness. They just want to win at all costs and torpedo Obama for whatever silly reason.

She should get NO uncommitted votes. Her name was on the ballot. Why would someone voting for her vote uncommitted instead? It's a crazy idea...

And it will further clarify the fact that Hillary received more popular votes than Obama.

And "popular vote", whatever it can be made up to be, carries no legal standing in party rules.

FL an MI count... you can't just claim they count just because some people voted. (we have informal votes here on DU...why aren't they counted for delegates) You have to back up your claim that the results reflected the will of the Dems in FL and MI.

Hillary will drop by mid June, Obama will be the Nominee, and MI will go Dem in the GE. FL is, of course not reliably Dem.

I think lessening the penalty to losing half their delegates will be in order. (Giving each delegate 1/2 a vote.)

Now, how they're allocated is another story entirely.

Sorry, if he doesn't get the uncommitted vote, hillary shouldn't get the vote that went for her. Everyone agreed that MI wouldn't count- including Hillary. Just between us, your quest to try to play the guilt card falls flat now that we know Hillary is inflexible when it comes to seating the FL and MI delegations. It's her way or the highway.

Your problem selling this poofy version of the truth is that her people crafted the agreement by which FL and MI are being penalized, a disposition she signed on to, and now she's trying to change the rules in the middle of the game with no interest in an actual reasonable compromise solution.
