The DNC's Rules and Bylaws Committee is meeting on May 31 to make a decision about FL and MI

FLORIDA AND MICHIGAN DESERVE TO BE HEARD

Millions of people in Florida and Michigan went to the polls to make their voices heard in the Democratic Presidential primary. They deserve to have their votes count.

The DNC's Rules and Bylaws Committee is meeting on May 31 to make a decision about Florida and Michigan. Send a message to the DNC telling them to count the votes and seat Florida and Michigan's delegates. http://www.hillaryclinton.com/action/flmidnc/?sc=1857&utm_source=1857&utm_medium=e

Millions of voters in Florida and Michigan are depending on you to help make sure they have a voice in this race. Will you stand up for them today?

On May 31, the DNC has a chance to make it clear that the people of Florida and Michigan have a voice in our party. The decision is especially critical given the important role these states will play in November.

And your voice could make the difference for the millions of people who went to the polls in those two states to make their choice for president.

2. Haven't you heard their latest lunacy? They want to give Hillary the Uncommitted votes...
Even though 99% of those votes were for Obama and Edwards, and Edwards has now endorsed Obama, so common sense dictates that to achieve any sort of fairness, Obama should at least get all of the "Uncommitted" votes.

They don't care about fairness. They just want to win at all costs and torpedo Obama for whatever silly reason.

She should get NO uncommitted votes. Her name was on the ballot. Why would someone voting for her vote uncommitted instead? It's a crazy idea...

And "popular vote", whatever it can be made up to be, carries no legal standing in party rules.

53. You have to back up your claim that the unsanctioned primaries in
FL an MI count... you can't just claim they count just because some people voted. (we have informal votes here on DU...why aren't they counted for delegates) You have to back up your claim that the results reflected the will of the Dems in FL and MI.

t
You can start with an explanation on how according to the results (that you claim are accurate) of Michiganers support Obama... because I can prove that there are plenty of supporters of Obama in MI.

Go ahead tell me how Obama getting 0% of the vote reflects the will of the voters...

I'm waiting...

arguments will be gone June 1st. ANd after the June 3rd votes. It will officially be over. With a week long grace period, of course.

Hillary will drop by mid June, Obama will be the Nominee, and MI will go Dem in the GE. FL is, of course not reliably Dem.

They aren't going to award Hillykins all her votes and delegates in MI and give none of the uncommitted vote and delegates to Obama. Sorry, if he doesn't get the uncommitted vote, hillary shouldn't get the vote that went for her. Everyone agreed that MI wouldn't count- including Hillary. And I do find it interesting how eager you are to spit on Obama voters and sanctimoniously preach about counting the voters. What you really mean is it's OK to shit on Obama voters but HIllary voters are above others. Tough for you it won't work that way and tough for you that hillary is done. stick a fork in her lame campaign.

and people like you will walk around with a smile on your face because Obama agreed to it.

You just repeat whatever the talking points are. You won't dare show disappointment or anger at the change of mind, it wouldn't even cross your mind.

Remember all the hosannas about the absolute brilliance and the great oratorical skills that the Rev Wright got around here on a Sunday night not long ago?

I think there were some people headed to the tattoo parlors to get "different does not mean deficient!" tattooed on their asses but by Monday it was time to toss him

overboard, with nary a peep from the Wright lovers.

Same thing will happen here on the vote issue, take it to the bank.

30. Too bad Hillary rejected the compromise. You should email her campaign with your displeasure.
Just between us, your quest to try to play the guilt card falls flat now that we know Hillary is inflexible when it comes to seating the FL and MI delegations. It's her way or the highway.

Your problem selling this poofy version of the truth is that her people crafted the agreement by which FL and MI are being penalized, a disposition she signed on to, and now she's trying to change the rules in the middle of the game with no interest in an actual reasonable compromise solution.

Your concern is as disingenuous as the candidate you support.
