You have not lived until you've heard a
white-haired, former Republican, little-old-lady
standing at the microphone of a Democratic state
convention singing, full throated, Rebecca McCall's
song (often sung by Noel Paul Stookey) Impeach
the Bastards.
That was the scene yesterday at the close of
the NH Democratic Party's state convention in
Manchester, NH as we debated a resolution call-
ing on the party to investigate and impeach the
Bush administration criminals in our Federal
government.
We sat next to this aforementioned LOL throughout
the day and I kept reminding Mr. Tesha that he'd
promised to be on his good behavior and not say
anything *TOO* embarrassing, what with me being
a shy little church mouse and all. But then, lo-
and-behold, from a completely unexpected quarter
comes our neighbor, supporting the final action
of the day (in her most amazing way), the reso-
lution to encourage the NH Democratic Party to
*FINALLY* support the impeachment of the criminals.
It was truly astounding, and the resolution,
opposed by two to one among the party's resolution
committee, instead passed the body of the convention
by nearly two to one. The only downside to this
whole scene was that the resolutions were on the
agenda as the last item of the day and the woman
who chairs the resolutions committee held this
one, most-contentious resolution until the very
end, so it received very little coverage from
the "legitimate" press.

did pass and I give all the credit to our very brash
LOL, former Republican seat-neighbor.
Brava! Nice singing!
