Hillary citing Rove today = she has gone off the deep end!
That's fucking it.

Why try and maintain political niceties when Hillary has so lost the forest for the trees that she knows not what she does anymore.

Karl Rove to most Dems is the symbolic brain trust behind all that is evil, malicious, and arrogant about Shrub's administration. He is the front man, the poster boy, the commander in thief of the criminal cabal that sits like a blight on The Hill. What was Hillary NOT thinking about today when she quoted Rovarian math!

To the Hillary supporters still here, not only do I believe Obama needs you to win, but I have frequently stated for those who have stayed so outnumbered here on DU --- that I really admire your tenacity. Gawd, we could use that kind of energy in the fall against the pukes!

So it is with all due respect to Hillary supporters that I say for the first time ever - your candidate is no longer operating on all cylinders. No Democratic candidate in his or her right mind would ever quote the logic of the architect who has brought so much death and destruction into our lives. Ever!

Karl Rove is the antipathy of compassion and peace.

Hillary's ship is dead in the water - really, really, really it is time to abandon it. Using Rove as some kind of political North star is evidence she truly has lost her rudder.

**********

And in case you missed it - this is what I'm talking about:

1. Hillary cites a person known to be a political heavyweight. Big deal.
Believe it or not, Rove's opinion is well respected by the MSM.

2. Who cares if the corporate MSM respects him?

I'm sorry oasis, but we can agree to disagree on this one.

Quoting Rove as a barometer of her success is more than a lapse of judgement - I think many would find it offensive and at the least, rather bizarre.

3. Now I have heard simply EVERYTHING. I never thought I could
hear a fellow dem and progressive actually try to act like Karl Rove is "well respected" and his opinions "really count" as long as they lean towards Hillary.

Please somebody get me off this bizarro world! I can't take it anymore.............

21. Mr. Wrecked-the-GOP-brand is an idiot.
Dems should be grateful that rove was so arrogant and stupid that he was a big factor in destroying the repuke majority and making bush historically unpopular.

And it's still bizarre to see Hillary touting his math when he was about as wrong as anyone could possibly be, two short years ago.

28. Hate to call you out and all...but in 2005...
Oasis said this :)

4. Rove is only "brilliant" when he's holding all the cards. Back him into a
corner and he'll squeal like a pig.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x4179018#4179031

Oasis also said this...

5. The mainstream media gets its marching orders from Rove. The "Dean Scream"
was played and replayed a trillion times by the MSM. 'nuff said.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x3104738#3104783

So Snooper asks, does the MSM respect rove, or obey rove

5. Do not confuse a complete lack of morality with the inability to grasp reality
She's out to sow destruction and sabotage our chances this November. That's been plain for weeks already. The outcome of the primary season has been fixed in stone since Wisconsin. Pennsylvania brought no surprises and NC lowered the lid on her permanently.

She's not carried off by any delusion that she'll be the Democratic nominee in 2008, but it's very important to her to make other people think that she could be or that she would have been had the nomination not been somehow "stolen" from her. If she has her way, she'll stick you all with John McCain and a Republican antifeminist SCOTUS majority for the rest of your lives. It's your punishment for having chosen Barack Obama over her.

7. But I can't believe our party leaders would let her continue to hurt Obama...
Though I agree with your sentiments kenny, I remain steadfast in my optimism that our party's leaders will not let this fucked up dance go on much longer.

Expect political heavyweights like Gore or Pelosi to chime in sooner then later to end it.

6. Rove fashioned *his* guy as a guy that answered few questions as well...
Took the high road, sat him round fishing in a boat somewhere not seeming to care about the turmoil that swirled all about him while brushing it all off like dandruff, answered in undefined universal/theistic terms, said he had no 'dog in this fight', and only got caught when the mic was still open...some dems have learned Rove's lessons very well

15. She has lost all credibility w/in her party with this one, I think. Combined w/the prior McCain ..
statement she made (that she and McCain were the only two competent enuf to be President).

I think she has really lost some of her standing in the party during this campaign. I'm beginning to think there was no Republican Conspiracy, and that the Repubs really DID have her number.

26. For those who seek to hold on to power at any cost...
There is no Dem or rethug.

Sadly, Hillary's desire to win no matter what the fall out - puts her in the company of others (like Rove) who will initiate a scorched earth policy if the end game is worth it.

For Rove, it's always worth it. I'm not saying Hillary has gone that far - but recent actions prevent me from saying she won't.

29. I've never dispised a Democrat as much as I despise Hillary Clinton.
Edited on Tue May-20-08 07:26 PM by Unbowed
Not even Lieberman.

He sucks but he's doing it because he believes. Sick, yeah. Well, Hillary is a whole lot sicker because she's not just a turn-coat but a sell-out to boot.

I was a Kerry supporter in 2003 but I didn't hate Howard Dean or any of the other Democrats. They were all on the side of the angels as far as I was concerned. I was voting for Kerry but I LOVED Dean and Edwards and Kucinich and Al Sharpton and the lot of them because the bottom line for each of them was that they were Democrats and they drew a sharp distinction between themselves and the pukes. We had a TEAM and a damn fine one at that. It was all good. I wouldn't have hated Edwards if he had won the primary instead of my guy. I'd have cheered him or any of them on with the same vigor as I did Kerry.

2008 is different because Clinton jumped right into the arms of the pukes. Yes, I despise her. She has ruined the memory of the Clinton years and now I don't believe a single word out of her mouth or Bill's. They inspire the same revulsion that Bush does. Can't even look at either of them without being totally grossed-out. I'm supporting Obama but Dodd was my first choice. Hillary was tied for third with Biden. Back around January, I'd have been happy with any of them. Not any more. Hillary is a Repuke in Dem clothing. She's NOT ON OUR TEAM. And now I have to wonder if she ever really was.
