The GOP is a smoudlering wreck and bushie is now as weak as a prez could be
Edited on Tue May-20-08 04:51 AM by cali
The GOP couldn't even steal three Congressional special elections this spring in heavily repuke districts. bushie desperately wants out of the White House and D.C. He won't suspend elections or impose martial law or even attempt to bomb Iran. He won't pull a false flag operation.

The repukes one ray of hope this year is winning the White House, and that's unlikely.

Oh, and Karl Rove is not a genius. He's an idiot who got lucky for a short period of time. As the political brain in the repuke party, he aided mightily in destroying repuke majorities, and the prez he served is the most unpopular since polling began.

2. actually, even that is building him up too much
he's a run of the mill slimebag. He's no better or worse than Atwater or any number of pukes. And the point is he's a resounding failure.

4. The *genius* of Rove
is a person who could advise a President from the height of being a popular war Commander-in-Chief to the lowest rated President perhaps in history; who could be handed the most prolific party in the country and decimate it then prognosticate his way to village idiot in the 2006 midterm elections. His master mind failed him by allowing him to forecast a rise in Bush's popularity of more than 40-percent, FISA would shatter the Democratic party and there will be a third term of Republican presidency (TBD).

On top of that, what "genius" would allow himself to be caught on video rapping and dancing as badly as he does?

6. Tennessee is trying Rove's magic.
Just heard on our local news that the TN GOP thinks dirty politics is just fine and dandy and they will continue on with their smear of Michelle Obama. To quote the local GOPer, "Michelle is certainly fair game". I've got a LTTE for pill-poppin', drug thievin', born-with-a-silver-spoon-up-her-butt, Cindy McCain. So, we'll see what's fair game, heh? Rove has injected a side of politics that is just plain seedy and un-American. IMHO

7. That's not rove's magic. Just a slime technique he used.
He hardly conceived it himself.

14. Ted is saying
that while he has been good friends with several of the other democrats in the primary, he endorsed Obama, in large part because he has some of the same strengths as JFK.

15. Outstanding.
Two of the best minds .... they represent the best in the democratic party that I identify with.

Ted has a new book out. I guess I know what book I've got to find next.
