I proudly cast my vote for Barack Obama today in Kentucky!
FINALLY!!! I was so jealous that practically all the rest of the country got to vote before me, but the day finally came and I was so happy to have my chance to vote for the next president of the USA! Of course, my vote might not do a lot of good in Kentucky, but at least I added one more notch to his popular vote totals. GOBAMA!

2. Thanks! It's Kentucky that will put him over the pledged majority... as long as
he gets like 25% of the vote, it'll be Kentucky that puts him over the edge :) So your vote counts for a lot!

The best thing about this long primary season is that it has really forced a long-overdue conversation with each other. I've learned more about my country in the past twenty weeks than I have in my lifetime.

All of my Kentucky friends are proudly voting Obama today, too. :bounce:

12. Kentucky expatriat down here in Texas cheering all of you on, regardless
of your choices.

The idea that it is not only a good thing but a necessary thing to vote had faded away over the past 30 or so years. I think this rowdy pre convention series has gotten folks interest aroused. Also, the last 4 years have really raised the hackles of those who may have sat out 2004, 2000 and now see they could have made a difference.


and YOUNG PEOPLE ARE EXCITED that is the best part
