I finally reached my limit. Tweety's right - every Tuesday is Groundhog Day. I've seen this day before...many times in fact. I even know what every bloviator is going to say. In fact I'd bet we all could be given a bloviator on CNN or MSNBC and come up with a fairly close assessment of what they will say.

And no, we don't really need to wait for the votes to come in. They certainly don't.

BTW, the score is Celtics: 10, Pistons 3

1. It's not wrong if you are rooting for the Pistons
which I intend to go do now!

17. Personally, I wanna see another Boston-Lakers contest...with...
Boston winning of course. :)

But if Boston doesn't make it, I would prefer a Pistons - San Antonio contest. That would be some brutal defense.

37. Spurs are darn good...I wouldn't be suprised...
At the beginning of the playoffs, my bet would have been on Boston. But two series of 7 games probably will doom their chances. I'm not sure sure they get by Detroit any more. They may very well lose tonight.

43. I don't usually keep up with the East coast games..
well, except the year before last when I was rooting for Wade. He's just pretty to watch though I haven't kept up with much after my fella' told me he had been injured. I usually don't watch season games, but save my enthusiasm for the playoffs. :P

All my faves are West conf. I hadda' pull for the Hornets since it's the home team, but always have been a Robert Horry fan, so I followed him from the Rockets, 'til he finally landed with the Spurs, and I wasn't too disappointed they beat the Hornets. They both played hard and there's always next year.

*I was looking up his record for kicks, and he's ranked second all-time on the list of three-pointers in the playoffs, only to Reggie Miller, followed by Jordan. Another interesting lil' factoid about him was that he's one of only 9 players to have won 7 or more championships, and the only one who didn't play on the 1960s Celtics. Only one other player has won rings with 3 different teams, and he's now the all-time leader in playoff games played, second place is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and he just did that in May of this year. :D

I didn't watch either.

Just saw her being phony milling while through her crowd afterwards, mouthing out big "THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH" with her eyes bugged out wide.

I just couldn't. Nor could I stand hearing about Pat's "Racist white people won't vote for Obama!" comments.

After two consecutive series of cheering against the Celtics I now find that I may want them to beat the Pistons. I don't like either team, but still better than watching more talk about low-information voters.

Same speech, same lies, same talking points, different day.
