Playing in the background. Made me laugh. :)

(Played after Springsteen's "The Rising")

5. Hey Hissy, did you get to go to the Charlotte rally? If not, I wish you could have been there. We
spent 3 of the 5 hours waiting listening to these songs and that one was played. The best moment of the time before the official rally started was when "Man in the Mirror" started playing. People all throughout the arena started swaying and singing, waving signs (ones given by the Obama people). "Gonna feel real good, gonna make a difference, gonna make it riiight". It was a beautiful moment, one I'm so happy to have shared with my family. "Make that change".

8. I didn't know about it.
I'm sure I had to work, though. I would like to go see him once.

7. Was it the O Jays? Give The People What They Want?
Edited on Tue May-20-08 10:23 PM by mahina
I been all over the world
and everybody feels the same
It's a unanimous decision
We're ready for a change!

Got to give the people,
give the people what they want!

Because it's about time for things to get better
we want the truth, the truth, and no more lies
we want freedom, justice and equality
want it for you and I want it for me!

People want better education
People want better food to eat
People want better housing
People need money
People need equality
People need understanding
People need freedom!

Better give the people what they want~

How's that bass line...I made an Obama playlist and boogy on down the street. And Signed, Sealed, Delivered is the last song right before Dancing in the Street, which I pray we will be doing across this nation in November and January.
