What happened to all those committed, unwaverying older white women who just won't consider anyone besides Senator Clinton?

1. Sheesh ... where have *you* been?
Don't you understand that *they* don't count?

Don't ask me why, though, I wasn't part of this week's conference call so I'm out of the talking points loop. I'm sure someone will fill you in, though. :P

Exactly who DOES count by HillMetrics? The way things have been going, I've lost count of who counts. And what if you count, but you voted in a state that doesn't count?

including those that vote for her in unsanctioned primaries!

11. Okay, if you say so ...
But what if you voted for Hillary in a state that no longer exists? Do they just count your vote, and ignore the rest of the state? Do they move your Hillary vote over into the nearest still-existent state, and count it there?

25. Let's see
You count if:

1. You live in a big state that doesn't start with I, or isn't in the southeast.
2. You count if you live in a primary state that previously voted democratic.
3. You count if you live in a state that doesn't have black voters.
4. You count if you are white and your family tree doesn't branch.

Any other questions?

They just do what they're told.

Seriously, someone really tried to make that argument about female Obama supporters.

The only fitting response to that is something like, "I'm sorry you were dropped on your head as a child."

8. Simple.... Oregon has fewer Limbaugh fans for Opperation Chaos.

How the hell can Hillary claim she has strong support in rural states, when it is publicly known that she's getting votes from Rush listeners who will never vote for her in the GE.

The same voters who don't show up at her events and don't donate money to her campaign...

18. The problem is "too many liberals in Oregon"?????
Maybe that's a problem for Hillary and her supporters, but it's certainly not a problem to the vast majority of DUers. We're a pretty rowdy liberal lot, you know. We'd like more liberals, better liberals. Moderates don't bring change.

Do you recall why this board was started, on Inauguration Day, 2001?

It wasn't because we were craving "more moderates," that's for sure. :eyes:

Since this board doesn't have a pledged delegate reservoir, I'd still wager that you're a little miffed at the state of Oregon tonight.

35. Hmm - because I don't like invading third world companies for trumped up reasons
I like universal healthcare. I don't like corporate welfare. I don't think the oil companies should be allowed to gouge consumers. I don't think the constitution should be used as toilet paper. I don't like corporatist shills who are willing to export jobs while taking money from foreign countries who murder union members.

Yes, no wonder I support Obama. :grr:

17. You say that like it is a BAD thing....

Hillary won a state tonight that is a bastion for conservatism.

Obama won a state tonight that is a bastion for liberalism.

Which state will we win in November? (hint: It doesn't start with "K").

Which state better embodies what America should be like? (hint: It doesn't end with a "Y").

38. Actually, she didn't win the 'state'....
she got an overwhelming majority of the underwhelming minority of Democrats in the state.

You are 100% correct, however, that the answer to questions niether starts with a 'K' nor ends with a 'Y'.

You are calling me a liberal upscale elite?

I grew up in downtown Fayetteville NC, within walking distance of the old slave market. My father was a milkman. His father was a prison guard. My mother worked as a clerk in a pharmacy. Her father and mother were mill workers. I attended the Salvation Army. Elitist enough for you? :grr:

15. White Oregon Female here ...
I know lots of other W.O.Fs here who were 1. disgusted by Veruca Clinton's IWR vote 2. disgusted by her whiney-ass "poor little me" schtick this campaign and her alignment with McCain. Two major reasons. Plus, she's an entrenched Old School politician with more baggage than Samsonite.

Not to mention, Barack just kicks ass. :D
