With 214 SD outstanding, if they would just stop waffling about and decide, the Democratic party could move on.

Why can't they decide? Seems they hold the blame for this thing going on forever.

1. Because if they do they will infuriate half of the party.
Yeah, the millions of people who voted for Hillary who want to see this process go to the end.

3. Agreed.
Let them vote so they don't feel like they have no voice.

She's already $31 million in debt.

For the sake of their favorite candidate I urge the Clinton supporters to ask her to suspend her campaign (NOT concede) so she doesnt end up much further in debt with nothing to show for it.

She will still remain on the ballots in the last few primaries, you will still have your chance to vote for her.

Do Hillary a favor.

9. Not until everyone has voted.
Yes, that means Puerto Rico, Montana and South Dakota.

Got a problem with democracy?

4. I don't know about that.
Seems like some people who know the Clintons better than any of us have a different view.

Hillary has given no indication that she would wave the white flag if the SD's were to endorse Obama in sufficient numbers to get him beyond 2025 at this time. She will have to be shown that she really has no alternative, and that means dealing with Florida and Michigan, among other things.

6. You're probably right. Lucy Van Pelt tactics. If you're losing, change the rules so you win.

7. By a count of 140 to 19, they HAVE been moving to Obama.....

The ones that are left are scared to death of the Clinton machine..... still.

8. They don't want to piss off the Clinton supporters in their district.
After all, they (representatives at least) can't go making a large part of their re-election vote mad at them six months before the election. They want to make their choice after he gets to 2025.

11. They can decide--they just needed Obama's clinching to legitimize it.
Now that Hillary's lost her last piece of leverage, it's "safe" for them to "come out" now.

13. News says Something like 115 to 87 Obama's favor in unpledged SD's
Bottom line is a clear majority of unpledged SD's come from states that Obama won. So if those superdelegates see that as enough justification to go with Obama....

I believe that time's a'wastin'. We need to secure the needed votes and get Hillary's concession.

I'm convinced that she is simply hoping that another shoe will drop against Obama before the convention.

And I'm sadly becoming more and more convinced that she is trying to ensure that he loses the general.
