A toast to DU's safety valve -- Hillary Clinton.

:toast:

Any and every type of negative emotion is directed toward her, nonstop.
Where WOULD this campaign be without this safety valve? Where would any disappointment, doubt, disagreement go otherwise?

Come to think of it, we may find out.

5. That's too limited. Think about any group or committee--who

is the organizer, who is the kleenex source, who cracks the jokes, who pisses everyone off. But, the work generally gets done.

I'm being sarcastic about GD:P, of course, but there is the functional aspect of drawing so much anger. :hi:

8. Exactly right! There are no victims here. And I don't hate anybody, but I sure am getting sick of
the victim BS and misplaced righteous anger, to the point of threatening to sabotage the Democratic candidate in the GE.

3. Good Point. Sad to think that we have to hate one candidate though,
to have a safety valve. :eyes:

14. Your words, not mine.

I'm more concerned about the tenor of the entire primary season, and where the furies go next.

13. "Where would any disappointment, doubt, disagreement go otherwise?"
1. Is this the middle of a race? If so, the Republican nominee.
2. Is the problem Congress? If so, go to #3. Else, #5.
3. Did we lose narrowly? If so, Lieberman/DiFi/Whoever.
4. Else, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.
5. Is the problem in the executive branch? If so, the current President.
7. Is the problem in the Supreme Court? If so, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.
8. For all else, the DLC.
