Rec this thread if you trust Obama!
I usually hate "rec this thread" posts but I think it's important to say that I trust Barack Obama to run his campaign for the presidency with the same brilliance he's shown to date. I don't presume to know better than him and his advisors who should be his running mate and if he chooses Hillary Clinton then I will trust him enough to believe he feels she is the best choice. If he chooses someone else, I will feel the same.

In other words, all these "I won't vote for Obama if Hillary is on the ticket" threats are no better than the "I won't vote for Obama" threads.

Let's give the guy some room to work, ok?

5. I'm certainly kicking
"Trust"? A bit open-ended.

I think he has good political instincts. I think he'll choose a VP candidate which helps bridge the gap that the campaign has created.

I'm reminded of a sign that used to hang at the gas station in my hometown. "In God we trust, everyone else pays cash".

And he's already hitting the Replicans hard. This is how we should have been fighting them all along; we never should have ceded any ground to them - meaning on political issues, or by competing in every state. He responds right away and responds hard, and he understands how to dominate the news cycle. I think he can do it.

And Michelle rocks!

I am as proud of my country as I have ever been and so inspired that a more humane and progressive person (as compared to our current administration) is ready to lead us. He will be able to unite this country as no one in recent history, if many of my white southern neighbors (and others) would get over their fear and hate.

I believe Mark McKinnon quit the McCain campaign because he couldn't stop the slime they were already spewing and what they had planned for the future. And sadly, the rethuglicans are going to use hateful lies and distortions. Senator Obama may need a fierce attack Veep like Hillary!

85. I trust him in his ability to hire top-notch advisers
and to run a sane, effective campaign.

And I can't wait for him to thrash McCain.

But I'll give you a K&R because Obama is the best politician in the race and I believe he will help our country

96. After the way she's behaved herself lately,
I'll believe Obama would choose her for VP when pigs fly. He'd be giving the Republicans a big boost, too, because there'd be folks coming out in droves on both sides of the fence to vote against her. Even Democrats who used to love her are beginning to dislike her as much as the Republicans do.

I honesty don't think this is anything we need to worry about. It ain't gonna happen.
