Bill Clinton must owe some HUGE favors based on a Hillary win
It is unreal that he is encouraging her to stay in despite the math being against her. He knows she can't win yet he keeps telling her to stay in. I think it is because he promised a lot of things for those library donations when she was the inevitable one. Now it is time to pay up and he is scared shitless. My mom keeps telling me that whenever she sees him on tv now he looks so angry.

17. Here's how they made it: SUPPORTING TYRANTS TO MONITOR FOREIGN ELECTIONS:
After Mining Deal, Financier Donated to Clinton

By JO BECKER and DON VAN NATTA Jr.
Published: January 31, 2008
Late on Sept. 6, 2005, a private plane carrying the Canadian mining financier Frank Giustra touched down in Almaty, a ruggedly picturesque city in southeast Kazakhstan. Several hundred miles to the west a fortune awaited: highly coveted deposits of uranium that could fuel nuclear reactors around the world. And Mr. Giustra was in hot pursuit of an exclusive deal to tap them.

Unlike more established competitors, Mr. Giustra was a newcomer to uranium mining in Kazakhstan, a former Soviet republic. But what his fledgling company lacked in experience, it made up for in connections. Accompanying Mr. Giustra on his luxuriously appointed MD-87 jet that day was a former president of the United States, Bill Clinton.

-snip

snip

"Kazakhstan’s president, Nursultan A. Nazarbayev, whose 19-year stranglehold on the country has all but quashed political dissent."

"Mr. Nazarbayev walked away from the table with a propaganda coup, after Mr. Clinton expressed enthusiastic support for the Kazakh leader’s bid to head an international organization that monitors elections and supports democracy."

-snip

Just months after the Kazakh pact was finalized, Mr. Clinton’s charitable foundation received its own windfall: a $31.3 million donation from Mr. Giustra that had remained a secret until he acknowledged it last month. The gift, combined with Mr. Giustra’s more recent and public pledge to give the William J. Clinton Foundation an additional $100 million, secured Mr. Giustra a place in Mr. Clinton’s inner circle, an exclusive club of wealthy entrepreneurs in which friendship with the former president has its privileges.

4. No -- it's just a Clinton thing
they have always found that if they just drag things out long enough, there's a chance something will break their way. They're hanging on hoping that one of their right-wing friends or their own smear patrols digs up something juicy on Obama -- and then Hillary can sweep in and get her way.

5. They needed to protect BushInc into the next decade just as Bill did throughout the 90s.
Clintons need their legacy protected, too, at this point. You think they WANT the books opened up on BushInc so everyone can see that Bill spent the 90s protecting the Bushes and the secrecy and privilege of the powerful elite?

The Clintons may just get back in the White House.

Now, think about this: the Kennedy's wanted somebody clean, brave and honest to get 'in there' to reveal who was involved in and what was covered up related to the coup which happened in 1963. RFK was executed so he could not get into the White House and find out things one can't find out from outside.

There's more than one reason Caroline and Ted Kennedy have become so very close to the Obamas. I sure hope Ted will find out what he wants to know before he leaves this earth. I believe his sins will be forgiven, too.

21. Exactly why Teddy was so behind Kerry, too. Open government doesn't come easy -
it has to be fought for by those willing to take the risk - lives and careers have been at stake for any open government Democrat, we have seen that many times over the last few decades.

I think we have awakened something within our citizen ranks in recent years and we are ready to grow the open government wing of the Democratic party.

THIS is why open government Democrats are behind Obama.

6. I bet he owes a lot more to those foreign companies that donated to his Prez library
Millions came in from Dubai and elsewhere to fund Clinton's Prez library. The Clinton's are like drug addicts who lost their drug dealers multi-million dollar cache of drugs and know they are going to die unless they can find it.

7. It's got something to do with the Bush Crime Family.
Bill's good friend Poppy knows that he will be burning in Hell before 2016. He wants to ensure that the crimes of the Bush Crime Family are concealed as long as possible (and that covers everything from the Bay of Pigs to Iraq, and all points in between, including Dallas 1963, and a couple of stops in 1968)

Does Bill know about all of that? Well, nobody ever accused Bill Clinton of being stupid. And if I know about the Bush Crime Family's activities over the last several decades, you can bet your ass he does. And his promise not to investigate the Bush crimes of the late 80's kept their previous crimes under wraps as well.

Having the Clintons back in the White House would ensure that Poppy's transfer to Hell's equivalent of the CIA goes off without any distractions of his crimes being exposed here on Earth.

14. I didn't mention September 11
But since you did, yeah there's probably a lot of things that "need" to be covered up there as well.

Let's start with WHY Hillary chose (or was chosen) to be the Senator representing a state in which she never lived. A state which just coincidentally happened to include the target of the operation which PNAC, before the 2000 election, was already describing as the "new Pearl Harbor" that would be required in order to brainwash the American people, through fear, into accepting their global fascist neocon agenda.

24. You want to pretend Bill DIDN'T deep-six BCCI matters throughout the 90s? Go ahead - tell us how
he resolved those matters. Don't leave out the parts where BCCI thugs involved with Poppy Bush like Jackson Stephens, Dubai and Saudi royals and Marc Rich also have donated millions to Clinton library and in recent years to Clintons' bank accounts.

Draft a good cover story for us, we're all ears. Use Bill's book for reference - oops - Bill never mentions one word about BCCI in his entire book. Gee - he must not respect the intelligence of the American citizen, or YOU, prod.

Edited on Wed May-21-08 04:58 PM by Mme. Defarge
when questioned about the current administration's possible involvement in 9-11 by someone in the audience at one of his appearances awhile back, was shocking and bizarre. Hindsight being 20-20, it was, perhaps, telling.

13. Noy only that - how many favors has he called in just to keep this going?
You can bet he's burned every IOU he had to keep the party from calling this thing at the end of February.

At this point, they've probably got less in the political bank than they've had since before Bill became prez.

$100 mill in the bank is nice - but you know it's all about the power for these two. So in addition to every other reason mentioned in this thread, they've got to get back into to the WH so they can start collecting favors for Chelsea's first political run - or it won't be happening, ever.

What we're witnessing is a fight between Dean's DNC and the grass/net roots vs. the DLC, the prize being the future of the party. And for once the good guys are winning.
