Where the hell were you in 2000 Hillary?
Here's a great quote from your husband from back when Florida was truly being disenfranchised:

"There is a process underway. The courts will do what they're going to do, and that's the way it ought to be," Clinton told reporters Thursday near Camp David, the wooded presidential retreat in western Maryland where he is spending the Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends."

Maybe you should follow his advice - let the DNC and the Rules Committee do their jobs, "that's the way it ought to be."

Think about it... if Gore fails, she might be ready to step in there in 2004. Or, she could bank on the fact that incumbent presidents are often re-elected, take the chance that Bush is re-elected against whatever other nominee the Democratic Party puts up (since they know there aren't any big names out there and whoever DOES run won't be getting much help from the Clintons) and that she'll be there in 2008 without an incumbent VP to run against.

I don't want to believe that was going on in Bill's head - but it's possible.
