Ralph Nader used to be the most hated person around here
He must be laughing his ass off over what Dems have done to themselves this year. Given every opportunity to take the election this year and the Party is shooting it's damned foot right off.

2. democrats being democrats, eh?
screw Ralph and his evolved self-indulgent 'participation' in current politics...

he might have some good, even great ideas...

but the only thing he has successfully lead in the past 10 years (to be generous) is the sabotage-assistance he gave the gop in 2000...

go away, ralph...you've had your run...

7. Substitute Clinton's name for Nader's in your posting
"evolved self-indulgent"

But it's not always somebody else's fault. Gore didn't play his cards right and so he and we all lost. Nader was the convenient bogeyman.

3. And the real irony of that is.....
Ralph Nader actually had contributed a lot to progressive politics in this country, before he decided to become an election spoiler.

Hillary can't even claim that much.

10. I was just thinking about that today
Teddy Kennedy is about the last political figure left from the 1960's, but then I remembered that Nader (although never elected or appointed to any kind of political office) was also a political force of sorts from that era. Can anybody think of any other political figures from the 1960's whose names were household words, who are still alive today?

4. Kerry got worse attacks than Hillary during the 2004 Primary
and even afterwards before he decided not to run, (maybe even afterwards when he endorsed Obama). and many of them who did that are Clinton supporters.
