Lots of presidents have had girlfriends. Some had many girlfriends. The last faithful one I can think of is Harry Truman.

The only reason the blow job came out is because Kenneth Starr was on a witchhunt looking for ANYTHING to use against Bill and Hillary.

I still think Bill should have refused to answer. Personal sexual behavior that is not affecting his performance is irrelevant.

Chelsea is extremely bright. She went to Stanford and Oxford University and did well. The Clintons have already been through more hell than any family should have to go through. That doesn't mean that Hillary should be president. It just means that the meanness, vitriol and viciousness of the Repukes has spilled over to the Democrats, unfortunately.

That was the kicker for me. Our country had already been sidetracked for months and months with the Paula Jones sexual harassment investigation and he throws away our chances for crawling out of the morass at the flash of an intern's thong underdrawers.

He clearly put the best interests of his dick ahead of the best interests of his country. We all suffered through that, and needlessly.

He was STUPID as governor to solicit a blow-job from a state employee, Paula Jones. That is just STUPID, as it has been repeatedly ruled that it is an abuse of power and can be seen as sexual harassment.

But he topped it all when he started up even more affairs while being investigated for Paula Jones.

I don't much care for the Clintons (especially during this primary), but I always thought they had every right to demand privacy for Chelsea when she was under 18 and I respected that they played hardball on that.

I just wish common people could take months off from their job without penalty to work on a political campaign. Actually, I don't. I just wish they could have time off when needed for their families. I don't think she should be asked about Monica Lewinsky and its effect on her family, but I don't think asking her tough questions is off-limits as long as they don't become personal attacks. I think the same thing is true of Michelle Obama, Cindy McCain, etc.

I really got mad when she was made fun in the 90's. I can't see where she has done anything wrong. I sure don't blame her because she supports her mother. I don't support Hillary, but I would be shocked if Chelsea didn't. This primary has gone on too dang long.

She asked or demanded, depending on your perspective, that her employer give her time off to campaign for her mom...

Who cares? If it was my mom, I would want time off too. If one of Barack's daughters was old enough, I would think they would want time off to campaign too. I do think she should answer questions when she campaigns, but not anything about Monica. That should have always been private as far as I'm concerned. I'm a big Obama supporter, but this controversy is a little bit silly, IMO. :silly:
