Why isn't the DNC aggressively defending their actions re MI and FL?
Edited on Wed May-21-08 06:20 PM by atufal1c
Mod Mod just posted that, after sending him a handwritten letter, she received a letter from Howard Dean re the seating of the Florida and Michigan delegates assuring her that the rules wouldn't be changed in the middle of the game. You can read about it in her post here http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=6066517&mesg_id=6066517 .

I'm happy for her, but I'm not re-assured.

Doesn't it make sense for them to tell that to ALL of us? Hillary and Bill Clinton are at this very moment, attacking Democrats, the Democratic Party, and our democratic processes on a DAILY basis.

What the hell is the DNC waiting for, Christmas?

Everyday Hillary is talking this disenfranchisement garbage and they are saying NOTHING.

Everyday they are PUBLICLY claiming that the Republican Party is more interested in fair elections than we are.

And most people don't understand what is going on.

The Democratic National Committee has to TELL them!

And time is running out. There is going to be a huge backlash if these delegates aren't seated and the DNC doesn't defend itself until AFTER its vote.

Inform the people!

Tell them the states were warned of the consequences.
Tell them the decision was made a freakin' year ago.
Tell them why the decision was made and what could happen if states thought they could get away with doing whatever the hell they wanted.

Are the Clinton's so powerful that the DNC won't even defend ITSELF against them?

1. consider the clinton's 'hoist on their own petard'...
let the clintons run themselves out of power, or at least greatly diminish their status, within the DNC & DLC...

5. Agreed. Remember, the race was supposed to over by Feb. 5th.

According to Hillary herself.

3. Because it's Hillary who is not honoring the
decision made by the DNC. If Obama had won Florida and Michigan you could take it to the bank that Hillary and Bill would be saying the DNC made a decision and it should be supported.

Since Hillary won those states, well the gloves are off. She feels ENTITLED to the presidency.
