Zogby: Bob Barr could create some serious havoc for McCain
The survey hints that Libertarian Bob Barr could do some serious damage to McCain by stealing support among the very conservative and libertarian voters. Barr wins 10% support among those self-described “very conservative” voters, and wins 22% among philosophical (not necessarily “capital L”) libertarians. As McCain continues to angle for moderate support on the campaign trail, Barr could create havoc for him among McCain’s political base.

(...)There is less evidence that Ralph Nader would cause as much trouble for Obama, but he still wins persistent support, including 6% support among mainline liberals and 3% support among progressives.

1. The Libertarian convention starts in 2 days. Hopefully they'll pick Barr.
It would be deliciously ironic to win 2008 in part because we Naderized John McCain.

4. Man, Nader at 6 percent?
I tell you what, that's going to be a lot more solid than Barr's support, when you take race into account.

10. I have heard before that Barr himself is 1/16 black
Ironic, since he appears to be racist. He was once a CCC member.

6. But will that be enough to compensate for the Hilary Harpies that profess to elect McCain?
Of course, McCain is not their first or second choice, but they are too stupid or menstrual (I know this is going to get me in trouble.) to vote in their and our country's best interest. They are just plain vindictive and stubborn. There's a lot to like about women, but neither Lord or Lady MacBeth are an option I could support.

And then there's the Harpies. I suppose they are the new soccer moms.

This IS a sexist opinion that cuts both ways.
