The supers are the ones to be blamed for being so wishy washy
The weak supers are the ones the ones to be blamed for this dragging out like this, I mean it's like the asking for a ride on a scorpion, it's her nature. They should have pulled the rug out from under her before she could pull this bullshit. Asking her to be civil and step aside for the good of the party is not going to happen.

1. They're perpetuating the good old liberal stereotype.

2. Obama Has Been Holding Them Back...
This thing has been over for a while. He's trying to let her down with some dignity.

3. They should come out now
You would think after clinching the pledged delegate lead they would end this and bring them out now, she is just trying to wreck his GE chances now.

7. He Must Want To Mollify Her Supporters...
The majority of the SD's have committed to him already and he's just bringing them out a few at a time to keep the news cycles. After the last primary if she refuses to suspend her campaign watch out.

4. Yep...he's a gentleman, trying to let her down with dignity. And she insists on calling him sexist.
Hillary Clinton did not deserve to have an opponent with so much honor and integrity. Imagine is her competition played low-class politics like she does.

5. The SD's have constituencies they are committed to serve.

Several uncommitted are from Oregon, I know, and they have remained uncommitted in principle awaiting the results of the popular vote. Of course the results were as expected, but still there is the customary form to follow...In other areas the issues may be different.

In an interview with Webb on NPR today he said there are really very few undecided SD's. Its more a matter of timing...some might wish for strategic drama, but the majority only want anonymity, in a particularly difficult contest.

6. I felt that way too but watching Biden (my first choice) be able to defend both of them
and attack McCain, without anyone being able to say "he's just a XXXX supporter" has been interesting. I think it has given him added credibility to take on McCain. I'd like to think other SDs are doing that too, though I haven't seen it.

I don't think it was planned that way; Biden says it was a promise he made to both of them when he dropped out, and he tends to keep his promises.

8. They're Waiting for the Best Offer
It's a common tactic in Congress. Abstain on a close vote until it comes down to the crunch. Then the deals get better.

Cynical, huh?

9. Maybe some of them are hoping...

...to be *the* superdelegate who puts him over the top. I wonder how many will come out of the woodwork when he gets within single-digit territory.

10. I hate bumping my own thread but I really think these spineless wimps need to be addressed
They need to come out now and end this
