Iran to Start Gas Export to Switzerland in 2009
TEHRAN (FNA)- A senior Iranian gas company official said that Tehran will make investments in Europe's gas network.

...And Iran has paid an economic price with the "drying up" of international investment in its oil industry, economic infrastructure and export credits, the secretary of state said.
---------------------
"The investment in exporting gas to Switzerland is worth 40bn Euros," Managing Director of the National Iranian Gas Export Company, Nasrollah Seyfi added.
---------------------
"I think this is called a successful multilateral coalition of states that have the same view" that Iran should be rewarded for its cooperation or isolated for its defiance, Rice said.
---------------------
Seyfi said that Iran and Switzerland have been holding negotiations on the construction of the pipeline for Switzerland for exporting Iran's gas, adding, "If this goes ahead, it will be a new achievement in investing in Europe's gas networks."
---------------------
She added: "I would like to see what other options there are for the international community, given that this policy is one that I think is the best course for us."
---------------------
"Based on the gas export agreement between Iran and 'EGL' Switzerland, 5.5bln cubic meters of gas will be sent to Switzerland through the Turkish pipeline and via Greece, Albany, and south Italy," Seyfi said.

Oh yeah. Workin' just great. Pay no attention to that multinational consortium behind the pipeline.
