Clinton campaigns as attention wanders elsewhere
By Ellen Wulfhorst

But for supporters like Nora Blake, 85, who listened to Clinton speak at a senior citizens center in Sunrise, Florida, the media and the Democratic Party are to blame for unfairly dismissing the New York senator's candidacy.

"I don't understand why they are so anti-Hillary," said the retiree from Brooklyn, New York. "The Democratic Party is dismissing her, the Democratic National Committee is dismissing her. I think they should all be junked." ...

Can't speak for anyone else, but I think these SD's need a proverbial kick in the ass for allowing this travesty to continue. There is no way in hell, in my mind anyway, that this is good for the Democratic party. We will pay for this dysfunctionality. I guess the only question left is how long this dysfunction will be allowed to continue, and how much it will hurt us in November.

4. We are not doomed. Donations to our party are at record highs.
The GOP is scared even in bright red districts and will have to spend their dwindling cash in GOP strongholds.

3. If anything is driving Democrats away, it is Obama supporters`
They have literally driven half the members away from this board with their abuse. They should be trying to get Hillary supporters on their side, which they are doing the opposite of. Anger and hate have a way of clouding rationality.

Never seen a Democrat actually drive Democrats away from the Democratic Party before. I can see why
someone like Hillary would cause division, anywhere she goes. She thrives on it.

15. How is it "logical and rational" to constantly diss the
17 million Hillary supporters who you need in the GE? Your logical and rational seems more like immaturity to me.

5. If the undecided Super Delegates screw this up (commit too early), their careers are threatened.
If they do nothing, we may lose the election, but they stay safe.

As with Clinton, they are thinking of no one and nothing but themselves.

give a shit. Working is just "a hobby" to far too many. They don't know what it's like to live from paycheck to paycheck.

I fear that both parties are different shades of right wing corporatists who revel in keeping us "peasants" fighting each other.

If the superdelegates do NOT act soon - shit! I just may move to Vancouver and open a Head Shop. :(

12. Those Delegates, Ma'am, Are Professionals
Their inaction to date represents genuine uncertainty among them about what the better course for the Party would be in the general election....

16. Paralysis in the face of action spells disaster. There comes a point where more damage than good

can come out of a given situation because of inaction. Given the fact that people are now turning against the Democratic Party because of Hillary's campaign rhetoric, I believe we have now crossed that line, and there is much evidence out there to prove it for those who are willing to open their eyes and see what is going down within this party.

You now have a group of Democratic Women, out of Ohio, that are going to actively campaign for McCain because they say the media has been sexist. When insanity sets in, you know you have serious problems.

Edit for typo

17. True Enough, Sir: Inaction After A While Is An Action Of Its Own
But the quandary these people face is a real one. Boiled down to solid sludge, this campaign represents a trial of strength between two strains of prejudice deeply rooted in our culture and political life, and there is no precedent to guide forming a decision about how predictive the currents in the primary Party electorate are of the currents to be expected in the general electorate this fall. Though people do not much like it, the purpose of these 'superdelegates' is precisely to over-ride popular will with professional judgement when the latter is sure the former has got it wrong.
