According to Rachel Maddow Hillary is planning on taking this ....
.... to the Convention. And if she can keep Obama from getting it
locked up before June 3rd than she can challenge the delegates because
of MI & FL and that will have to be taken up by the rules committee @ the
convention .... Mean time Hillary can have 3 more months to campaign and
a large part of her talking points will be that she got more votes than
Obama .... although this is false (Caucus States & MI / FL) this is part of
her plan to steal the nomination or to weaken Obama so he can't win.

Hillary is about Hillary not the party or the country. Time for the
the Super Delegates, any uncommited delegates, and the voters
in Montana and South Dakota to put an end to this crap. If Hillary
gets her way we can say President McCain.

1. She wants VP or she's going to make it impossible for him to win.
Mostly by convincing women that Obama hates them.

Sick really.

5. I had a client yesterday tell me that Hillary is down because of "Sexism."
Team Hillary is trying to hang on by what ever "they" can and
charges of Sexism are part of their plan. Hell, Fox News was
repeating this charge for her yesterday.

Hillary is not planning on a graceful exit but going "scorched earth"
and taking this to the convention.

8. I would bet that her confirmed handmaidens are organizing inside the Obama campaign.
She has to stay in to herd as many sheep as possible into her fold, since she's destroying what might have been her constituency otherwise. She is in the process of concreting her base within the Obama campaign and plans to use them to assert MoveOn-style pressure in his pResidency. Watch for the rise of Clinton based lobbying firms.

until people wake up, often too late.

Exhibit A: Iraq has weapons of mass destrucion, Iraq is an imminent threat, Saddam Hussein is an evil dictator who must be removed NOW...

Exhibit B: HRC is losing because of sexism, misogyny and the he-man women haters club of presidential politics...

All lies!!!

23. She is there because it is a JOB..........
Women everyday take jobs to make a living not because they are treated with respect as an equal peer. If women did that, they would either end up barefoot and pregnant or without a job.

Women are valued below men in this society.

32. And according to Al Giordano's The Field..
Obama has already said NO..anyway she went a fuuny way about wanting to be his VP. Kinda like her whole campaign..not professional.

The Nightmare Ticket Is Dead
By Al Giordano

"The Field can now confirm, based on multiple sources, something that both campaigns publicly deny: that Senator Clinton has directly told Senator Obama that she wants to be his vice presidential nominee, and that Senator Obama politely but straightforwardly and irrevocably said “no.” Obama is going to pick his own running mate based on his own criteria and vetting process."

4. Do you remember a letter from a faction of the SDs back in March (?)
to the DNC saying that they wanted to resolve the "impasse" by going ahead and declaring? I know I should go look for it, but I saw it here and the signatories were exclusively known HC supporters. I wonder if those are the hold-outs now.

She says inflammatory crap to get noticed and YOU OBLIGE her.

Don't you see how stupid this is?

7. If Hillary deliberately weakens Obama so he cannot win, she is finished nationally forever.
If she steals the nomination from Obama she will never win because millions of Obama's supporters will feel robbed and demoralized and will have no faith in the system. This will be particularly true of the young Obama supporters who have been inspired and motivated by his candidacy and they will lose their faith in the system. It certainly would be different if she had won the most delegates fair and square during the primary season.

If Hillary manages to cripple Obama so badly that he loses the election, then she if finished nationally. There will be no 2012 opportunity for her because her name will literally be mud and she will be a pariah to millions of Democrats with no opportunity to ever win. If she tries to cripple Obama and he manages to win, she is screwed and finished then too.

It's too bad because she had the potential to become a great Senator much the way Ted Kennedy has since he accepted that he would never be president. She just cannot get over that somebody dared to take her turn at the shot to be president. How dare Obama!

11. It's simple, if the SD's can get together and say:
We'll stay uncomitted to the convention, as long as you're tag-teaming McCain and let the rules committee do their job. But the minute any one of you goes negative against the other, we commit.

Neither candidate should have a problem with those conditions.

One thing Rachel pointed out that no else has is that Hillary doesn't care if she loses the Obama voters; she has ZERO chance of being president if she doesn't get the Dem nomination, but she would have a chance at being president if she is the Dem nominee. That's what Hillary is shooting for--the presidency.
