CNN: Michelle Obama's black dress + pearl earrings = "I am Camelot with a tan"
Video clip discusses Cindy McCain's photo spread in Vogue, "she's very attractive and can't help it," and how wearing jeans with bare feet makes her "one of us."

"Jeans are as all-American as Apple Pie!"

Then they slam Michelle Obama. DAMNED liberal media!

"I am not some scary other...I am Camelot with a tan" (CNN quotes the Washington Post on this).

Cindy McCain vamps in Vogue 2:11
The Cindy McCain in a new Vogue spread has a far different look than the campaign trail wife.

2. How the hell can CNN do a piece on Cindy McCain w/o mentioning her drug crimes?!
"She donates time to charity..."

Yeah, and she stole drugs from her charity.

"She had a stroke, and has worked hard to overcome its effects..."

She also stole prescription pads and forged doctor's signatures to steal even more drugs. If she was a inner city mother instead of a senator's wife, she'd be in prison!

But we can't tell the public THAT.

3. If she were Mrs. Obama instead of Mrs. McCain, Mr. Obama wouldn't be in politics . . .

both ladies dress well. thank god at least they do not wear pants suits and drapery fabric gowns...

hillary was offered a vogue shoot months ago but she turned it down because someone advised her she would look to "feminine".

hillary has done several previous photo shoots for vogue...

5. "I am not scary"?!? That is an unfair application, and I think intentional
Jeans and a sweater, though I really doubt those are a size zero, and a black dress with pearls are classics. I believe that both women like classic clothing, while these are the stereotypical classics, both usually dress conservatively and with taste.

I take exception to “Camelot with a tan”; First of all, Jackie Kennedy doesn’t have a corner on the little black dress. Then to equate Obama's coloring with a tan, that denies who she is and makes it sound chic to do so. To imply that she is trying to project an un-scary image, as opposed to the intelligentt and savvy woman, that she is, that is just another example of manipulation by the MSM.

If you keep watching the video, reporter Gregory Reese Jr then does a rap song supporting Barak. After that, a video about McCain’s search for a VP has some women standing around him singing gospel. I am just so miserable with the way the MSM and the political machine treat the black issue.

It would almost be better if they ignored it rather than show us their moronic perceptions.

7. Black is Beautiful, baby
I can't wait for the comparisons of how "naturally beautiful" Sindee "Drugstore Cowgirl" McCain is and how shocking (SHOCKING) it is that a Negroid like Michelle Obama can put on fancy clothes and look normal :sarcasm:

For my money (and taste), Michelle Obama is a beautiful woman in every sense of the word and I look forward to her being the nation's First Lady. Sindee McCain? I wouldn't fuck her with a stolen dick.

It was also sexist. Both women deserve more respect than your sexual comment.

10. drugstore cowgirl
denim and diamonds, the classic "western" nouveau riche combination.Considering that most of the SCLM has thrown itself on its back on the ground on front of mcinane we'll likely never hear a whisper about the second mrs. mcinane's pharmaceutical indiscretions while Michelle Obama's edited clip about pride in America will be put on a loop and replayed endlessly.

11. Cindy McCain is scary to me!
There is nothing natural about her. She is starkingly white with her bleached out hair, her (I suspect) plastic surgery face, and every thing else fake about her. Her whole demeanor is threatening. I have nothing against white people; I am one. I say this as a white woman who even has white hair. But to suggest that Michelle was anything but eloquent in her dress and manner is stupid and showing prejudice. The problem with Michelle (as far as some people are concerned) is not only her skin color but also the fact that she came from a working class family, from the south side of Chicago. Women like her, according to them, should be unwed with a bunch of kids and on welfare. Some people have stereotypes planted in their heads and are not willing to give them up without a fight, thus they attack anything that does not fit these false images. Just my humble opinion.

16. Very one of us. Size 0 "All American Jeans." Unnatural pose. Unnatural Botox face.
This is the kind of crap that really pisses me off about the media in regards to woman. Don't hate her because she's beautiful America. Hate her because she's fake.

17. I'm still trying to figure what size 0 jeans has to do with anything
She does look fake and that image won't help when people find out how McCain left his crippled wife for this rich, plastic bimbo.

19. They mention the size of the jeans to show how she's ultra thin - like American women should be.
I don't buy that, but it's what the media perpetuates. It's a false image of what female perfection is in America. It's also big business in America. Many women pay small fortunes on diet pills, workout gadgets and elective surgeries in attempts to fit the mold.

18. Yes, and those of us who know a little about photography ... there was some "sofening" of features.
Can we say hyper-plastic?

Hell, Cindy McCain makes Joan Rivers look as fresh and creamy as "The Break Girl." :P

She's scary looking. :scared:

Just what's up with some women doing that weird thing to their mouths anyway? I'm seeing more and more of it and it's just freaky looking.

In what universe? She looks like an anorexic victim with too many plastic surgery appointments.

YUCK. :puke:
