Hillary and I Feel Very Strongly About This
by Jay Dykman

Champion of democracy, Hillary Clinton, has stated that she will take the fight to seat the DNC-rule-breaking Florida and Michigan delegates to the convention. She feels "very strongly about this."

Hillary and I are so in synch it scares me. I feel exactly the same way about a lot of things I forgot to feel strongly about at the time they were actually happening.

10. Satire, parody, irony, and facetiousness require a modicum of thought.
:eyes: Patellar responses notwithstanding.

15. thank god
It's hard to tell these days, and the last 10 ops I have read like this I assumed were satire and said "Haha, very funny. Oh wait. You're serious."

17. I feel that pain as well. When folks go INSANE it's tough to separate satire from serious delusion.
My respect for the mental acumen and intellectual integrity of many long-time DUers has been seriously diminished in the last 6 months. (OTOH, my love and respect for many others has been sustained.)

13. I read about some advertising techniques about this
For companies that want to sell to kids, but where parents have to buy the stuff, the advertisements tell the kids to tell the parents to buy the stuff. That gets a pretty low response, but if they teach the kids to give a reason, any reason, and in particular "I feel strongly", then a much higher percentage of parents comply.
