Hillary's reasoning on going to the convention is to get herself a place on the ticket
Let's face it if it goes to the convention and Obama has to deal with Hillary's attacks and attempts to try and seize the nomination from him instead of giving 100% of his time to building the party in 50 states and concentrating on McCain it will give the party little time to recover and unify. I think Hillary knows this and it is a reason she wants this to go all the way to the convention because then with so little time to bring us together she believes Obama will have little choice but to make her Vice president as the quickest way of uniting her supporters behind him.

1. She's wasting her time...
the only people who want to see her on the ticket are Rush Limbaugh Dittoheads.

8. No, almost half of Hillary's voters are dittoheads...
the other half of her voters will vote for Obama because saving the US from the GOP is too important.

3. Obama has told her "no." Unless she really wants "Fatal Attraction" comparisons....
she should take the freaking hint.

God, I have compassion for Bill Clinton being married to her for all these years. I wonder if she stalked him, too? Creepy.

4. I think an Obama/Hillary ticket could win easy, but couldn't govern effectively.

6. it goes against what Obama's about as I heard somebody on TV yesterday say
Obama's about the future why would he want to make one of the relics of the past his VP?

7. I think it would lose.
Hillary adds nothing of substance to balance the ticket in terms of real world experience or heft, geopgraphical balance, truning a red state for example, and then you've got her loose canon spouse running around mucking things up.

The idea of a former President hanging around telling Obama what he should do and how things ought to be done screws up everything.

It energizes the right.

........and lastly it severely undercuts his whole message of change and stopping politics as usual.

There is very l;ittle of real valaue she adds to the ticket and way way too many negatives.

That's why he told her "no, thank you Hillary, i'm a big boy and can run a campagin on my own."

5. Obama will pick whoever HE wants no matter what she does.
He is way to smart and tough to be pushed around by the likes of her. All she accomplishes by taking it that far is the hurt his chances in November. I don't honestly think she wants to do that. I hope I am not wrong.
