What Does Hillary Want?
Source: TIME

Among Clinton's potential consolation prizes: the veep slot and absolution of her campaign debt.

A graceful exit is never easy in a business as fraught with ego and ambition as presidential politics. Which is why in recent days, quiet calls have started going out to key supporters of Hillary Clinton who are showing signs of wanting to jump ship. Clinton's emissaries point out that she is no longer attacking Barack Obama, and they promise she won't start again. Allow her to ride out the last few primaries, they argue, and she won't do anything to make it difficult for her longtime allies to switch their allegiances when the time comes. more at link....

1. She wants Obama to lose to set her up for 2012.
Continuity for the Bush/Clinton crime family.

13. Hardly half.
I'm no Obama fan, BTW. But I'm surely not fooled by the Clinton smoke and mirrors. 8 years of being sold out by a Clinton is too much already.

7. Everyone should read the whole article...
This is telling...

There is an urgency to this task: she has only until late August to raise the cash from donors to repay herself more than $11 million she has personally loaned her campaign.

18. Money is a red herring.
She will be compensated by her corporate overlords with no problem.

This is all about continuity of power.

14. Delusional
At this point I think Hillary is delusional and in denial.I compare her demeanor as to someone who has lost a child. I don't think running in 2012 is in the cards. After this I don't think she has it in her. Remember Barack will probably run again if he doesn't win in 08. Thats another 4 years toward the progress of ending racism and a good number of diehard racists will not be around to vote. Hillary will be too old in my opinion and botox can only do so much. Nobody wants a grandmother in the white house. Bill will surly have slowed down as well having one triple bypass already. All the markers and favors have already been called in from the Clinton era and the pail is just about empty. If Hillary was going to do it, now was the time as even her campaign managers will have aged and moved on or slowed down. It's time for change and Barack is it.

16. She wants to be President.
She wants to make history as America's first woman Commander in Chief.

Failing that, she wants to be VP.

Personally, I'd like to see President Obama appoint her to the Supreme Court upon Justice Stevens' retirement. I think she'd be great on the high court.
