If Hillary cared so much about the delegates in MI and FL...
Then WHY hire a man that voted to strip them to help run her campaign?

Clinton lays out path to party nomination

(snip)

Of late, talk has been that both should see their voting power cut by half, to make sure some penalty attends their violation of national party rules. But Wolfson and Clinton strategist Harold Ickes – who sits on the Rules and Bylaws Committee and voted to strip Michigan and Florida of their delegates last year – say the entire votes should be counted and the delegates apportioned as they would have been if the primaries counted.

Since it started appearing, however, that Obama would capture the nomination, her campaign has changed its tune.

Said Ickes, who will have a vote next Saturday when the Rules and Bylaws Committee meets on Michigan and Florida: “These states have in fact been punished.” By which he went on to explain that they were penalized by not seeing any of the candidates campaign in them.

(snip)

Clinton has said that if she does not believe Michigan and Florida are dealt with fairly, it is a fight she would take all the way to the national convention in Denver this August – a position she shares with U.S. Sen. Carl Levin of Michigan, who was a prime mover behind the Jan. 15 primary, which was called as a challenge to Iowa and New Hampshire’s primacy in the presidential selection process.

(snip)

So she hired a guy that she thought was shitting on the Democratic process? How does she justify that?

1. Simple
It helps her. The only justification that she needs is that it might help her win.

2. why does Clinton want to punish supporters of Obama in Michigan just because their candidate....
removed his name from the ballot just as Edwards did, in an attempt to obey the DNC rules regarding participation.

The situation in Michigan provides the absolute proof that this is ALL about Hillary. She has no concerns about Obama voters being disenfranchised.

5. This Michigan voter is sick of this horse shit from Senator Clinton
If you're going to win, win fair. The very idea that she would have Michigan's vote counted, when nobody else was on the ballot and didn't campaign, is sickening. Please, Hillary!! Show some fucking class. Please.

6. "It's clear that this election they're having is not going to count for anything."
I wonder why some 527 hasn't put this in a radio/tv/newspaper ad in MI actually.

9. It is apparent that DU has its own
527 swiftboating Hillary Clinton. Anyone who wants to say a kind word about her immediately gets lambasted by other DUers who are for Obama. Obama is a fine candidate. But why is it a Hillary supporter somehow becomes someone to criticize? All this stuff that is being said about her comes mainly from the media and someone is always ready to pass it on. DU has become a gossip rag that ridicules others. It wasn't that way in 2002 when I first came to DU.

10. I'm not sure that's true
I'm trying hard not to get nasty with her....but she's diappointing the hell out of me with this shit. I've always been willing to vote for her if it's between her and McSame. But I'd feel a lot better about it if she....well, you get the idea.

12. And why would she sign onto a "Loyalty Pledge" back in September of 2007...
... to honor the four states chosen by the DNC to go first?

Clinton, Obama and Edwards Join Pledge to Avoid Defiant States
