Ok, finally got the photos off the cell phone. Sharing with you.

Sorry for shouting in the subject line, but he is worth shouting about.

I still can't believe I touched his hand....

5. self-bumping for the pm crowd. Techinical help needed.....
I have the videos downloaded to my computer but how do I post them online? They are G3PP2 files and every time I try to convert them they lose a lot in the quality and sound? Anyone have any solutions? I want to get them up on Youtube eventually as the crowd rocks with Barack's speech!

8. Try this utility
http://www.topvideopro.com/video-ripper/3gp-converter.htm
convert them to AVI first, then do the youtube conversion from there.

13. no but the little old lady next to me openly wept. She was in a WHEELCHAIR..here
is her picture. Then she quietly told me she used to be a Republican.

BTW, this picture just goes to show you that the people at Obama's fundraisers are pretty common people....not the stuffy hobknobs....Bless these people's hearts.

14. not only that but I also gave him a personal note with a mustard
seed pin attached (telling him that it was a grain of hope and faith and better than any flag lapel pin) to which he looked me in the eye and quietly said "thank you", and then he signed my book....

This chubby old mama just got lucky....no, blessed from the mustard seed.

20. ha, you jest for sure. Actually, my daughter gave me the book
for Mother's Day. Her husband, my son in law, is a staunch Conservative Jewish McCain loving Republican (we are Catholic) but she quietly told me that he read excerpts of the book before they wrapped it. We didn't tell him I was going to the fundraiser for exactly the same reason you mentioned above...he thinks I need to save for retirement. (Actually I used my stimulus check to attend this event, ha ha Dubya) Anyway, tomorrow night we are going there for dinner and she told me to make sure I bring the book and show him that I made an investment in my grandson's saving's account as the book has made a positive return on "their" investment. So, sorry but the book is being given to my grandson (their son) in the hopes that Grammie will teach him right...ah, I mean...left!

but, maybe if you have a Mercedes? They only have one and my son in law probably won't part with his...

But, nice try!

BTW, I actually live in NE Florida, which is ALSO McCain country. So, he probably won't come to my hometown. I had to drive two hours for this one.

17. I was using two items....one a Motorola phone and the other an HP
digital camera which I had put to highest resolution and pixels to make sure I got shots in case I was not close. That's why there is so much difference in some of the photos. Oh, and the digital is really old, too and the cell phone cheap! Sorry...

19. No worries, I'm just a techie
and amateur photographer. You must have been less than 6 feet from him with
some of the photos taken with the cellphone. Did you already use a photoshop program to enhance them?
You should be able to tweak them in RAW format. They are really great, like I said, I'm envious.

The book signature is just Amazing.

24. Actually, I estimate more like 5 feet....and
I just did a little crop here and there and used an auto program to enhance. It is the video that is giving me problems, though. It comes out good in the Real Player except of course it is cell phone sound but I need to get it uploaded and when I converted it to avi it came out crappy. So, it sits on my computer. Any ideas there? I uploaded them to Motionbox, too, but they were worse.

27. well, it wasn't as bad as the lady with the T shirt. We were talking
about American Idol and Clay Aiken and how old ladies bought pillowcases to sleep on him and then she dropped the bomb that she sleeps in that T-shirt.....

Now, that is creepy! I just meant that to shake hands with a possible President was thrilling to me....almost like Chris Matthew's leg-tingling.

But, I get your point!

28. And I get yours as well.
I too shook his hand and was psyched... though it seems like a lifetime ago (I live in NH). I do remember though, how elated I was just to meet the fist AA President.

But as for the other people you speak of, it kinda reminds me of this male strip club I went to once. A guy pulled a t-shirt out of his sweaty banana hammock and women dove to grab it.

Gross.

Its the only time Ive seen desperation like that.

:hi: Gobama!

29. the best part is that a lady I met while waiting just sent me a photo of
him when I gave him the mustard seed. Needless to say, it is on my compter screen desktop where it will most likely remain forever now....

I posted it elsewhere but in case you missed it...here is the close up cropped....
