OK, HRC supporters, is this really what you want? You want to bully your way on to the ticket?

Based on a couple of press reports, guess what, Obama doesnt want her as VP...news flash: quite a few Obama supporters dont want her as VP either. Yet today I have started perusing the threads and a few of you supporters are touting the fact that it's possible that she bullies her way on to the ticket at the convention via the nominating process.

Dont you guys get it? Obama has the nomination and is not interested. Why do you guys want to force it against the will and better judgment of the dem nominee? Why?

Would you guys have liked it on Super Tuesday if she had won, she said she wasnt interested in having Obama as VP, and somehow he was bullied onto her ticket?

Enough of this nonsense. He said NO, many of us said NO, now you try it. NO MEANS NO!!!

Maybe in a few years they will grow up and learn that berating people constantly just really didn't do them any good.

50. Sometimes, it is SOOOO hard not to post an old screen shot I saved
So very hard not to expose people for the obnoxious crap they admitted was a mistake and apologized for. How soon they forget about hateful crack about a pink suit by a particular designer and comparison to a First Lady from another era who wore a pink suit by same designer. How easy it is for some to slip back into obnoxious behavior of labeling people they don't like as Rove might label people.

Slow learner. Fucking slow learner, and hateful to boot. Some say you are actually a comedian. HA! Now THAT'S funny, cuz you ain't.

11. No...half of the nation does NOT want her on the ticket.
a small but vocal majority of her supporters are demanding it regardles of what the candidate wants.

At the end of the day your boss is still your boss. You can try demanding that promotion but there is no guarantee you will get it. And if you campaign as aggressively and nastily against other members of your team to get it there is a good chance you might get demoted.

If she had bailed earlier on, I would be much more enthusiastic about the idea. Now, not so much. I'm not alone; California, where she won the primary, now polls in favor of Obama. She's burned a lot of bridges and alienated a lot of former supporters.

from the Democratic ticket does not blind many of us to the fact that Sen. Obama isn't exactly blowing Sen. Clinton out of the water, popular vote-wise!

In fact, this may be the reason that many SDs are still sitting on the fence - because neither candidate has run away with the vote count.......

with pledged delegates.

How hard is that for you to understand.

THAT was the only way to become the nominee prior to the convention --after that --it's a draw.

Even if he got the SDs to support him now --that STILL means nothing because the actual SD votes don't exist until the first ballot at the convention.

14. I haven't seen anything that indicated Obama has ruled her out as running mate.
Do you have links to those press reports? I just did a search and all I could find was that he was starting to look at his options, but refused to talk about any particulars and had sworn his staff to secrecy.

Also, the last Gallup poll I saw (May 14) showed that 55% of Democrats and democratic leaning independents wanted an Obama/Clinton ticket and 43% of Obama supporters wanted this as well.

I agree that it would be a mistake to foist her on the ticket if Obama really does not want her. I have just seen nothing that indicates that he has said no.
