1. She'll do better than him
In Ohio. Thats about it. Once Fast Eddy turns over the keys to the party machine in PA he'll do just fine here with that machine and the independents and GOPers he turned to democrats.

Florida is a fools errand.

4. I believe in MY map.. She cannot win where he CAN, but he CAN win "her" states
My map assumes a few things:

Barr & Paul stay IN
Alaska is fed up with republican overlords (they ARE)
Landrieu continues to poll well, and McCain does not pick Jindal
Edwards wokks his ass off for Obama in NC
Richardson works his ass of in NM & CO

FL,PA,OH,MI are NOT included PURPOSELY, but any or all of them would be welcome...

This map EXPANDS our base, and forces a BROKE McCain to spend money & time all over the place..

21. Nice! Thanks. I guess I should add one delegate from Nebraska.
I left that out because it's only one delegate, but I do think Obama will get one Nebraska delegate.

Thanks for the map!

2. Arkansas, Missouri, and West Virginia
I think would be attainable if Clinton were the nominee.

For what it's worth.

6. I think AR is a possible, but not the others
WV HAD to choose between the "white lady & the black guy", but in Nov they will choose the "old white guy"...bank on it..

If she's the candidate, I think MO will go red..

5. He was very close in polling, but she had "banked" almost 1/2 of the early vote
so he did not have a chance of overtaking her..

15. NV. has been hit hard by the recession and subprime crisis. Also, with many Americans cutting back
on vacations this summer, Nevada will feel the burn even more by Nov.

I still believe many Americans will vote their pocketbook.

My map looks like this, but it's only a current snapshot of the race. In reality I think Obama will carry NH and OH, and possibly FL, MO and VA as well.

23. Very realistic
This is my first post in GD: Primaries. I think your map is what we Democrats will realistically win with. Maybe a few change. I think it will be extremely hard to win any southern state after all the GOP attacks, mischief and vote suppression. I've seen people speculation about landslides, but I doubt that will happen. We just need to hold onto almost all Kerry states and flip 2 or 3 Bush swing states.

Honestly I wouldn't mind losing the popular vote but winning the electoral college by 20+, because all the self righteous blowhards who crowed that popular vote was meaningless in 2000 would now be trying to say the election should be overturned to align with the popular vote. If Kerry had won Ohio (or if everyone in Ohio who tried to vote had their vote counted), this would've been the case last time.

I'd love for Obama to win many red states, but we can never underestimate the stupidity of the voting public after Bush got more votes in 2004 when he should've lost by 20%.
