Nancy Pelosi...on CNN is captured doing a "laugh" over Screw Up of Farm Bill....
Edited on Thu May-22-08 07:04 PM by KoKo01
I know that RW CNN cut the clip of her reaction..and made it seem unfavorable to her...but OMG...why does Nancy put herself in positions where she does a "horse laugh" that makes her seem "really weird" in a MSMedia Clip.

I thought we Dems on the Liberal Internets had cautioned our Dems who serve in House and Congress about how their physical/body language can be fodder for "You Tube" and Fox Pundits to tear down. I thought we here on the "Liberal Internets" had sent enough Fax, Phones, E-Mails and Letters to our Congress Critters warning them about the "Mainstream Media" that they would be very wary about how they deal with Media and how they "phrase and parse" their encounters with those sharks.

But, CNN has prominently featured Nancy Pelosi doing (what I can only describe...stretching my love for the FIRST SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE WHO IS A FEMALE) ...as...a disgusting HORSE LAUGH...where she starts off giggling then goes into a raucous neighing before she calls out the "shooting down of Farm Bill" as an "expletive." What is WRONG WITH HER?

And...every time I hear the (stammering, stuttering of Harry Reid who loses his "index-card notes" for his speeches on Senate Floor and has to backtrack constantly ..when he forgets a word or two) leaves me cold as a Dem Spokesperson.

Does anyone else think that NEW DEM PRESIDENT needs to urge Pelosi and Reid to step down for the "good of the country?" :eyes:

1. Getting Pelosi to step down is going to be hard ... Reid not so much
He is older, and his position isn't in the succession line (or if it
is, it's not as high as the Speaker's). I almost expect Reid to
voluntarily give up the Majority Leader position after this Congress --
he's had his chance, and it's probably time for new leadership,
especially if we keep the majority and our next president will be
a Dem.

Nancy won't give up the Speaker's gavel unless there's a revolt
in the House membership and they force her to resign ...

2. I can't imagine worse symbolism than for a man who defeated the first realistic woman candidate
for President forcing the first woman Speaker to resign.

3. I don't think
Presidents get too involved in House and Senate Leadership battles within their own party. The last thing they want to do is piss people off and the Senate and House are very protective over their independence from the Executive Branch.

Bush might have been an exception though with Lott after the Thurman thing.

4. I feel our Dem House and Senate Leadership ...Promised so Much ...but has Delivered so Little...
I don't see Reid or Pelosi being able to carry out an Obama (Change) agenda.. That's what worries me. But, I don't see them carrying out a Clinton Agenda, either. They seem very weak after the Bush Battle years..and the late Monica/Clinton years.

I think it's time for change...but..that would be an unpleasant fight...if we got a bunch of new Dems in who weren't DINO's....
