I wonder how Hillary's comment goes over with the African-American community?

I'd swear that Bill and Hillary are just daring more black people to vote against them. I think their goal is get to get 100% African American voters to vote for Obama. Hillary might be susceptible to strong primary challenge in NY if black Dems in NY start turning against her. Residents in Harlem are already to kick Bill out of the city. The assassination comment sure doesn't do help them in the black community when most already think the worst of their motives.

the poor, uneducated, over 50 white vote is all they care about anymore. It's all they can get.

Clinton “Hopes” For Obama Assassination?
Reacting to Clinton's comments today, New York City Councilmember Charles Barron had this to say: “Hillary Clinton must have lost her mind.

Somehow we at The Black Star News are not surprised to read today that Senator Hillary Clinton told a newspaper’s editorial board, in a not very subtle way, that she remains in the presidential race where she has no chance of winning on the hope that Senator Barack Obama could be assassinated.

We suspected this all along, even when she still had some chance, and we said so in our Editorial “Clinton Race Baiting Could Endanger Obama,” which was published on www.blackstarnews.com on March 16, 2008. Senator Clinton today when asked why she remains in the race told the editorial board of the Sioux Falls Argus Leader: "My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. You know I just, I don't understand it…."

Reacting to Clinton's comments today, New York City Councilmember Charles Barron had this to say: “Hillary Clinton must have lost her mind. For her to even make the implication about an Obama assassination. That is insane for her to say that. There are enough crazy people out there who would want to so something like that…and for her to encourage it? Someone should make a citizen’s arrest of her for conspiracy.”

We wholeheartedly agree with Barron's sentiment and we suggest Senator Clinton should be held responsible by all decent Americans if any harm comes to Senator Obama. We believe that if this woman has a shred of dignity and self respect –if not for her, for the sake of her daughter Chelsea—she should apologize to the American people, withdraw from the race and join a monastery.

Smiling in Your Face

Y'all know that cut, it's classic soul music. Every time I hear somebody discuss the possibility of Barack Obama inviting Hillary Clinton to be his vice-president, that's the song that pops into my head.

Backstabbers.

Come on now, does anybody in the their right mind really believe that Hillary Clinton would do her best to make sure Barack Obama won the general election and then had a successful tenure as president? Anybody who believes that needs to come down to New Orleans because I've got some top of the line levees to sell you.

Goodness gracious, this is getting ridiculous.

Besides the obvious disconnect inviting Lord Hildermort on to his ticket would cause considering Obama's message of change, the sheer stupidity of allowing someone who has questioned your intellect, character, qualifications and faith in God to share power with you doesn't mesh with the intelligence Obama has projected. If there's one thing Obama has not been, it's stupid. He's been a little naive, occasionally unprepared and incredibly humble, but nobody can look at the arc of his campaign and call him stupid.

Well, nobody but Geraldine Ferraro.

It's not going over very well at all. What some people don't understand or even know is quite a few older blacks were hesitate to vote for Obama because of fears of assassination. My folks and my grandparents remember all too well the MLK assassination.
