Mike Gravel is in the Libertarian Presidential Debate on CSPAN
I didn't know he was running as a libertarian - good to see him in a debate again.

17. Yeah, it's Gravel, Barr...
...and four angry tavern owners from Wisconsin. That's the basic makeup of the Libertarian Party.

They're having their convention coming up. I think Barr will get the nod - he's more ideologically pure for them. Though I'm sure they'd give their left testicles to have Ron Paul headlining the Libertarian ticket. I'd love to see that, but Paul's still defending his GOP house seat this fall.

5. LOL. This is hilarious.
Basically all of these guys (and girl) are saying, "I have no platform! Isn't that great!" Gravel is the only one who makes any sense. I like the really excited guy who keeps yelling.

8. Well, I was going to vote for Nader, but ...
... if Mike Gravel wins the nomination for Libertarian, I would definitely feel good about voting for him if Obama gets the Dem nomination.

14. Um, actually, no. The libertarian vote tends to ....
... detract from the GOP.

16. Um, actually yes.
You are on democratic underground talking about doing EXACTLY what McCain would love for "Democrats and progressive independents" to do: vote 3rd party.

As far as the GOP is concerned, it is the 2nd best thing to voting McCain.
