I have NEVER seen such FOOLISHNESS in my life from Obama supporters.
All the Obama supporters who make threads against Clinton are ABSOLUTELY FOOLISH.

Mark my words, we will live to regret this.

We know Obama will win the Dem nomination.. so why the hell are we bashing Hillary with 75% of the posts here?

FOOLISH FOOLISH FOOLISH!

I am FURIOUS!

Everyone who spews hatred against Clinton supporters AT THIS POINT, You are all DUMB DUMB DUMB!

138. She threatened Obama with assassination. That is the ultimate...
implication of her remark.

She used as a campaign strategy the bloody death of the leading Dem candidate. Now at least one Fox puppet is joined the parade for assassination of Obama.

You need to take stock of yourself and what has led you to continue to support Hillary.

I'm an old-school, Big-Tent, Kumbaya-type Democrat, but I draw the line at assassination threats.

144. If she threated Obama with assassination you should call up the Secret Service
and inform them. Protect your candidate! Don't just post on DU because probably not too many secret service officers follow this site. If they dismiss you or ignore your call then call the FBI and the local and state police. Take these threats seriously. Don't let your candidate down!!

132. Hillary's assassination as a campaign strategy was it for me...
I think that anyone who supports this approach is as mentally unstable as Bill and Hillary obviuosly are.

I think it's time for the sane wing of the Democratic Party (the ones not supporting a raving and dangerous lunatic, Hillary Clinton) need to collective turn and face them, back slowly from the room, then slam and lock the door after ourselves.

They are dangerous and they think assassination is a campaign strategy. There can be no "ever-after" after that.

I hate Clinton. At least right now I FEEL hatred for her. And him, too. That doesn't mean I won't get over it. But I don't hate Clinton supporters, except those who are actually RW tools.

And BTW, they both deserve every bit of bashing they get with the damage they're trying to inflict. Just look at the fallout from FAUX this morning. Not to mention the shit they're stirring up in Florida.

Unfortunately, to break the cycle, one must be able to admit they've been a victim, and finally realize that the abuser isn't looking out for their best interests.

When you get there, let us know.

not intellectual, and in my opinion they're justified. I don't like the feeling of
hate so I avoid seeing and listening to her as much as possible but it's a
struggle when I do to not get mighty sick of her, to put it nicely.

There has been so much hypocrisy and dishonesty in her campaign, that's
the worst of it. Disgust & revulsion & fury is a natural and healthy response.

So don't lay a trip on anybody.. keep your own house clean, it is enough

You can get a lot of people to ignore the Clinton camp but there are some posters who will just never be able to do that.

Being ignored would be the worst thing for her campaign.

Clinton camp knows that to stay in the news they have to continue to be outrageous otherwise it will just be Obama v. McCain.

As much as I hate this bullshit drama, the both of them being so outrageous and stupid continues to further expose them for what they are. Let them shit all over their own "legacy." I for one hope it means she won't even get her Senate seat back, at this point. Let them leave Washington in disgrace and have to send movers to Bill's Harlem office in his stead.

We don't need them to win. They need to be marginalized not empowered.

68. I understand it - we only have WORLD PEACE on the line...
Granted, I'm trying to chill for a bit as Hillary has made it known she is in it till June 3rd. But after that, the gloves come off again. I really prefer she exit with grace and dignity intact; and yes, Obama does need her supporters to win. May her candidacy die in peace.

And yet, Obama equals the best chance we have for a more peaceful and sane planet. If after the last primary Hillary intends to keep this protracted fight going - it's time for voters and delegates in masse to step in to tell Hillary --- it's over! Any further time she spends in it beyond the first week in June undermines Obama's chances in the GE.

And since Obama = peace and McCain = war; I'll say we need to fight like hell for peace. If Hillary is still in this thing by June 10th or so, if she thinks things have been negative so far, it will make the past few months look like a tea party.

I really hope it does not come to that.

Every day Hillary and Bill keep the obvious end of their failed campaign from occurring is only hurting our chances of WINNING in November.

It's like guests at a party who have locked themselves in the bathroom and won't fucking leave!

GO!

It's easier being on the outside where you can be in a constant state of outrage.

Whenever someone's behavior isn't rational - it's often a subconscious desire that they might not even realize themselves. They may secretly believe that Obama will not be able to live up to their lofty goals for him.

So he/she tries to work up some faux outrage over a faux issue, like the one where DU actually makes a difference to what is really going on in the outside world:rofl:

You know, we tried for awhile there to be nice to Hillary and her supporters when it was obvious to everybody after Indiana/NC that Hillary was going to lose. But the thing is, Hillary and her supporters continued to spew fetid bullshit and baseless, needless attacks against Obama and his supporters. Sorry, but we're not going to sit around and take that kind of abuse without defending ourselves.

Frankly at this point, with this kind of water under the bridge, the only way to stop attacks on Hillary is for her to drop out of the race and endorse Obama. Until then, deal.
